i take some of that back cvt pulls in air based on speed of the cvt. if you do slow trail rides a bilge fan can be a benefit. They sell some pretty good belts now a days that hold up better then oem. The new designs are have far superior cooling.
couple things on belt temp. if it gets hot stop put in neutral and rev the motor this will pump cool air in, if you jump the can am do not land under acceleration this will pop the belt quick on this model.
You got lucky on the quad, i had the same thing happen to me in the AZ desert on a LTZ400, i never fell off but landed really hard and my chest fell into the handlebars. my hands never left the bars, but i fractured my radius at the wrist. i had to be in a full arm cast for 8 weeks.
If you dyno the banshee,they pull more hp in fifth or sixth,than forth.something to do with pipe heat.also slowly lift to full power at least 3 secs.mine gained 2 hp just doing that.

You should get a yamaha yxz1000 they are badass. I currently have a tuned 2020 x3 turbo rr and still liked the yammy better. And it was waaaay cheaper too. No belt to break and build quality is better
I went to wick338 pro ATV i think it was 02-04? Forgot year what ever I heard a quad that stuck out from the whole pack it was a banshee with a single pipe sounds better than any machine I've ever heard

If it was that big hill was called banshee hill because at the time, the banshee was the only quad willing to take it. I grew up around there and rode there all the time.. 15-20 years ago. Buy the clutches out of a 2015 or 16 maverick turbo xds. All those high belt temps will be gone. I promise i have a 2014 maverick max xrs no more belt issues . Belt temp never gets above 190 and that's at the dunes loaded 4 fat dudes deep🤣 airdam clutches ! Ask for Adam he does all the best in the desert guys clutches. He helped design the clutches in the new x3's. 👍👍

On The 15 and 16 turbos they actually changed the suspension just a little to gain 1 inch and 1/2 of travel. But ya basically the same. Problem is the minute you put that turbo on you have to put new clutches or those belts will explode every 100 miles🤣 and mcx won't make the turbo kits for the 13 and 14s anymore. Believe me i have a 14 max with upgraded clutches and i couldn't find a turbo kit .

Have you thought about installing a marine bilge blower on the intake air of the belt housing. They come in different sizes. Just a thought.
Yea I commented that a few videos ago too. I don’t know much about cvts but I would image a fan would help, especially an inline blower like that.

You should put a turbo on it it is the same suspension as the turbo Mavericks my friends makes 168hp it is fast
