I loved the format of getting most of your players from packs instead of the inflated auction house we have today. Now it seems like you have to spend BANDS to just be competitive in my team
As an Econ major. Some things still need to be taken into consideration with the math. Sponsorships and events need to be taken into consideration when it comes to how much VC is made. I personally remember brand deals as extremely lucrative in 2k17 and was able to get enough to open boxes in the my team mode with ease. Yet despite them hiking up the price in later titles, the events are less lucrative so less VC is made in total. I think also a ratio should be made for each game comparing the VC rates to the player costs to come out with one final number on how viable it was to grind for VC in the different games. Also you could factor in USD inflation into the VC prices too. Since 2017 the USD has lost substantial value that could have made VC technically cheaper. Just some things to keep in mind. I think their video is a good start but this could go way deeper. Personally ID be down to do research and put together a video on this.

This was crazy af
Well thanks agent for this video I am deleting the game and will never support 2k again. Blatant exploitation of our community

This my last one I’m time getting played.they did it this time with the VC increase and I’m still not a fan of being forced into the park when everyone doesn’t like to play park and just wants to play My career.
4 and a half seasons of my career sounds like torture lmao
i remember in 2k16 the most expensive mt pack was like 3,500 vc lmao

The one thing I've noticed too, they give you a lot of VC in game this year for doing the quests and that helps a little
But how long it take to do the quest though
At least in 22 we have those side careers that make like 50k each. I'm a 90 overall rn and I haven't spent any money on the game. I'm only halfway through the MyCareer season at 9 min quarters.
True But What If You Want 2-3 More Builds You Dedicating Your Time Like That ?
I play on PC and 2k really scamming us out of a 60 dollar joke. So dumb how it’s not next gen and we miss out on so much content.
@@123Jakrbran you forget the fact 40% of pc player hack
9:45 the tax goes into the jackpot‼️‼️
Going for 99 ovr felt like it was only for Tryhards and content/streamers. No way I would spend that much time on 2k for that, way too many games that are fun aswell. Especially when 2k comes out every year!
$100 now to max out a build. Then they update the game and make your build not as good anymore, so you need to make a new build and spend another $100. You'll have to make like 9 different builds in the end.
I think the ante up tax goes to the jackpot but still doesn't rlly benefit anyone coz its basically impossible to get it
I was fr just talking about this shits expensive now id rather grind a few days
DO A VIDEO ON HOW OUR 99 OVERALLS ARE ACTUALLY NOT 99 OVERALLS!!
ua-cam.com/video/lfpWMy4NjZ8/v-deo.html
What do you mean by that
@@noflexzonee if you were to create a player with your 99 overall exact stats. The player won’t be a 99 overall. We’re playing with 80+ overalls
@@MASHAFFILIATEDPZ I noticed this back around 2k17 I was so pissed off i had a 96 overall that was really a 88 overall and that’s when I knew 2k has been making us use glorified role players for the last 5 years
@@6dotz trust me fam. All these gaming companies have lost their passion and it’s all about money. And further, ore there’s no one to hold them accountable so there will never be any punishment for them. Consumers need to get together and do something about it
12:52 don’t forget about the fact that Chris smoove plays on hall of fame. And you HAVE to get buckets..
I also wanna add that 2k Every year makes the endorsements worse as well
I remember making like 40k vc in 2k19 from one endorsement, and also the daily spin or daily award have been getting waaaay worse as well back in 2k20 I would get 40 boosts or Gatorade now the most you get is like 10 😂
Preciate you doing the research big props 💯
