- This Video is about Tamilnadu all time favourite dish called Brinji . Brinji is a delicious one-pot dish made with spices, coconut milk, rice ,mix veggies and bread. This dish is very tempting and healthy too . It is one of the special dish during special occasion and festival time . It goes very will with onion or cucumber raita.
Ingredients
Basmati Rice - 2 1/2 cups
Carrot - 2
Beans- 8
Cauliflower - 1/2
Green Peas - 1/2 cup
Coconut milk - 3 1/2 cups
Bread slices
Onion - 1
Green chillies - 7 to 8 no’s
Tomatoes - 3 no’s
Oil - 25 ml
Ghee - 40 ml
Bay leaves - 3
Cardamom - 4
Cloves - 6
Cinnamon - 4
Stone Flower - little
Fennel - 1 Tsp
Mint - 1 hand full
Ginger garlic paste - 1 1/2 Tbsp
Curd - 1 1/4 Tbsp
Turmeric powder - 1/2 Tsp
Salt - To taste
Lemon - 1/2
Coriander leaves - 1 hand full
