Whenever we want to eat burgers, we just go to the burger stall. We never called them Ramli burger, We call them burgers Ramli is The brand of the burger patty that are use by almost all the burger stalls. In addition to that, some stalls make their own patty. Foreigners call this ramli burger because they could see all the Ramli branding on the stalls Ramli or not, they all taste delicious.

It is speculated it could be from India or from popular Malaysian fermented fish sauce called budu that originates from east coast states of peninsular Malaysia. If you have time, I can bring you around to try what a local Worster sauce would taste like.
In the same place just 10 meter only at lunch time around 12-3 pm you also can try a stall sell "nasi kawin " very nice..it's traditional malay cuisine for celebrate wedding time...

Not to spoil it for you, but that's not the authentic ramly burger. We use ramly's own patty for ramly burger and it usually costs around RM5. What you had was the seller's homemade patty. Kind of like his special menu (which is why it costs more). I don't doubt that it was delicious, but that is not the ramly burger that most Malaysians are talking about 😊.
Ramly or not, it's still a good looking double patty burger🍔made by 1 very enthusiastic cook👍. Dan, next time ask for bacon, fried egg with a runny yolk🥓🍳and get 3 patties and 3 slices of Cheese. Name it the Dan burger
Actually bacon was not available on Malaysian street burger😅 since Malaysia's official religion is Islam. You can find it at non-muslim restaurant but i guess it will be a lil bit challenging.
Ramly burgers are absolutely delicious and Kumaar Family made a video about it and many Malaysians loves Ramly burgers, I especially love it too! 😋🍔 There's also another street food in Malaysia that does similar ingredients with the eggs, sauces and other things in this video except there's no burger. If I remember correctly I think the name of the food is roti John, which is very similar to this food here. You should probably give that a try as well Dan! How's your day in Malaysia so far?

Hmm.. why are we squabbling over what type of burger it was? It is cooked like a typical ramly, and i imagine it tastes as good or better. By now Ramly is synonymous with roadside burgers with that slapstick patty, in the same way that all Malaysians call Maggi for all kinds of instant noodle no matter what the brand is.
There's a stall that I used to go to and I would get something called the 'sausage double special'. Basically it's the same thing as what you've ordered but instead of burger patties and the regular burger bun, they use 2 foot long cheese hot dogs and it's served on a hero (long bun basically). The thing is despite its sheer size, both of the hot dogs are wrapped in an omelette still. The place is called Burger Baek in Sri Sentosa.
Make sure the seller uses Ramly brand burger. In this video the seller uses home-made patty. But the style of making it is similar to Ramly burger style.
Regretfully (and no offense) to tell you that is not really Ramly's burger 😅🙏🏼 Ramly burger is one using the Ramly's patty and the price is much cheaper. This one is using homemade patty, which explains the price. But I think as most foreigners think that Ramly burger is the one with egg-wrapped patty, so yeah. But generally, most street burger stalls in Malaysia are amazing 👍 Still it looks amazing and Im sure it tastes amazing. Enjoy your stay and food here!!!!
Great job on trying the Ramly burger, really glad you enjoyed it, how about next time you try on other stall, not to ruined the business of burger stall that you tried there but every stall have their own style and recipes for the burger and you already tried the beef but you may found a rabbit meat or deer meat,although it may a bit rare but out there it really exist, street stalls in Malaysia are always full of hidden gem like that🤭
Big Bite is not a Ramly Burger lol Ramly burger actually a burger with Ramly's made patty inside. RAMLYs name at the stall is actually the brand name for the patty not the brand of the entire burger. That street burger itself has no brand its name is a "stall name" not Ramly. Different stall will produce different burger taste even they use same Ramly made patty. Most foreigners misunderstood what Ramly burger is 😁😁😁

Go to those near flat or condos, those burgers are as good at half the price. A decent one between rm6-8 already can fill ur tummy. though i had 2 all the time, one with the beef another with the chicken. both with eggs

Regretfully (and no offense) to tell you that is not really Ramly's burger 😅🙏🏼 Ramly burger is one using the Ramly's patty and the price is much cheaper. This one is using homemade patty, which explains the price. But I think as most foreigners think that Ramly burger is the one with egg-wrapped patty, so yeah. But generally, most street burger stalls in Malaysia are amazing 👍

Great job on trying the Ramly burger, really glad you enjoyed it, how about next time you try on other stall, not to ruined the business of burger stall that you tried there but every stall have their own style and recipes for the burger and you already tried the beef but you may found a rabbit meat or deer meat,although it may a bit rare but out there it really exist, street stalls in Malaysia are always full of hidden gem like that🤭

Ramly burger actually a burger with Ramly's made patty inside. RAMLYs name at the stall is actually the brand name for the patty not the brand of the entire burger. That street burger itself has no brand its name is a "stall name" not Ramly. Different stall will produce different burger taste even they use same Ramly made patty.

Ramly burger stalls are found in a great many places across KL but this particular one is in the Bukit Bintang area (it is on Google Maps).
but the burgers sold at the stalls are made more creative as in this video.
