A really beautiful & spacious boat. Love the bunk beds! Perfect for a family with a couple of kids. Heck, although I'm full grown, I'd sleep in bunk room and turn the bedroom into an office!
Lovely boat. Wonderful layout. Excellent use of space and plenty of storage. Those counter tops are quite nice; I would not take them for granite. Thank you showing all those cupboards.
This one ticks almost all the boxes. Would turn the bunk room into an office or video gaming space. The only big negative is not having a washer and/or freezer, but this can be remedied. The price is dear, but with what's essentially a turn key boat, you're paying for convenience. This one should go fast
This is a lovely well prepared and well maintained boat. Considering the new price of boats good value as well although the negative brigade will no doubt say it is to much but they are never getting a boat are they !!!
A fantastic boat for grandparents to live aboard and have visits from children and grandchildren. The high price is justified by the fact that the previous owner has obviously spent a lot of money on her.
To me the "reverse" layout is the obverse layout (contrived pun) - no engine noise when cruising, waking up & opening the bow doors to sunlight and birdsong, perfect.
Whenever I hear "the paint was redone in ..."/"the fridge was replaced in ..."/"the batteries were new in ...", my first thought is "it's nice everything is so new" but then my second is always "it seems repair and maintenance is a never ending task on (canal) boats". I'm guessing people don't spend several hundred quid replacing all the batteries because they think the boat will sell better, but more likely decided to sell the boat after spending several hundred quid replacing all the batteries again.
@@Error6503 What surprised me though was some of the items that have been replaced. Holding tank? Bow thruster? These are things that should surely last as long as the boat. It all looks very nice, but if it were a car I'd be concerned i were buying a lemon.
@@Error6503 It's also possible the new owners were planning to live aboard for many years, and fitted her out with all that new gear to ensure they wouldn't have to rip the boat apart in the future while they were living on her. Family circumstances could have changed necessitating the sale.
Because boats are normally sold at this price during a point in the market of demand, this shot up during the pandemic and also recently housing crisis, suddenly people think it's the best idea to invest in a floating home - then they realise that BOATING life is another way to say BREAK OUT ANOTHER TENNER Life - without the same support you might enjoy in a brick villa - the money you spend is not always the money you'll get back - I.E re-plating that rusty 60 footer does not usually mean the boat is now worth £25k more. Especially these tin cans do suffer from depreciation and market fluctuations - why most lenders won't touch with a barge pole
If you check Rugby Boats own map there are only two small canals in the North which could easily be done in a day boat if necessary. I have a 70' and I do not regret the extra space and in my case four canals in the North so a insignificant price to pay.
This boat could easily convince me that my preference for boats 57' and under just might be somewhat overrated. 😀 That bunk room could easily be re-configured as a video game room or office, yes, but if you could refit that top bunk as a drop-down Pullman bed you'd still have that option of additional berthing.
Alot of people selling them boats im guessing because once the government turns there are not many places to go. They are amazing looking tho...they would get alot of use where i live.
These boats would be far better in America, we have many towns and cities that border lakes where I live but yeah at that price I would buy a new RV and have money left over.
Perfect! Very well laid out and everything I’d want in a narrow boat. Obviously very well maintained too.

That's what I was thinking as well. You could have a lovely open space fitted out for an office.

Excellent! She is a beautiful boat for the right family.

If this is for a live-aboard then it's a good price!

Very nice indeed lovely inside indeed 😊
That is lovely boat. Me personally, I'd like a Washing Machine and a Freezer to go with it.

A lot of new parts - either the owners have kept her in tip-top condition or she's been an absolute nightmare during their relatively short ownership!

been flogged before not worth more than 77k narrow boat market is like the static caravan market over inflated
Why do you bother watching the channel

Lovely boat but how many canals could take a 65’ boat. As always an excellent video.

No icebox/freezer?
Long Cruiser stern, separate bunk cabin, big bathroom. You sure this boat isn't 85ft long?

£114,950.. Very nice but not my cup of tea.
You could have said "nice boat but price-wise, it doesn't float my boat that" ☺️🤣

£115k for a 15 year old boat seems a little steep
Some nice features but the price is seriously high.
