Fuel economy for this class of car, with a V6, is quite good. Murano gets 21/28MPG between city and highway. Equinox V6 gets 16/23MPG, Edge gets 17/24MPG, Grand Cherokee gets 17/24MPG etc... In respects to fuel economy, I strongly disagree with your conclusion. Murano does very well for its class.
It is pretty fast 0-60 in 7. 0 is great and no troublesome turbo to maintain and no lag! Thisnis a crv killer especially since the oil dillution scdndal on yheir 1. 5 turbo.. No longer the brick of reliability now. Even the 2017 design update wws frumpy looking compared to the murano. Only the chevy blazer comes close🚘
Looking at the2015platinum trim. It has luxury you ca. T find in some mercedes like cooled seats, panoramic moonroof. Projector LED headlamps that give so much light its like driving in the day. And the bose system is good.
Why buy? You had me at cooled seats. But the styling caught my eye. And all thos lines and curves seem to serve a purpose; drag is sports car-like at. 32 will take a6cylinder N/A over a 4 turbo any day turbos lag and work best with premium fuel. The kingnis thw CRV, but the murano is faster, dmoother, dnd morenluxurious. Not to mention it has things you cdn never get on a CRV: 20"wheels, pdnoramic synroof. And it can go further on a tank of gas despite having slightly worsenfuel economy. And best of all it is rocky road stylingnto the CRV's vanilla. The "C" incrv means cimfortwble but it can't match the comfort of nissan's 0-gravity seats
You'd think nissan would add grill dhutters to take full advantage of murano's slippery shape. It would improve mpg too! The most comfortable seats in the world even suck when they are hot and sticky. Gimme ventilated seats in the platinum trim. C'mon nissan almost 40K wnd no cooled seats? People in florida like nissans, too
The sport mode is terrible yo tour the shifter in the manual shift gate w a nd it’s in sport mode and you can select gears from the cvt , but it doesn’t help acceleration much, the noise from the high revs seem like something malfunctioned and it’s not any faster wish there were more drive modes it’s like Mazda it only has one mode and it’s not obvious how to do it is not a push button sport mode or a knob that clearly identifies “ sport mode. Test it for us. I’m sure people are clueless as to put the MURANO in sport mode.
I owned a 2007 loaded murano andfell in love, buying the 2016 platinum AWD and couldn't be more excited its everything I want in an SUV

"slightly" nicer? Thdn your everyday suv? I would sdy its better thdn some luxury brands
