From this video, Dodoma still looks like a ghost city to me. It looks like this city is in the middle of nowhere, and it may be too late and too costly for Tanzania to relocate government offices here from Daresalaam. If I were a decision maker, I would just keep the status quo of Daresalaam as Tanzania's capital because changing it to Dodoma may backfire terribly over the next two decades.
Most offices are already in Dodoma. There's no sense in keeping Dar as a capital. Dodoma has everything government officials need to operate there. Dar will remain a business city. There are many houses, restaurants, 5 universities and and just about everything else.
If you were a decision maker??!! Am glad your not 😂
@@denniskimaro4143😂😂😂 Right .. capital city need to be calm and well planned and Dodoma is just as that, Dar es salaam is way too far out it’s harder for other Tanzanians to get government services since Dar is way way too far for them but Dodoma is just right in the center of the country much better and fair commute for all Tanzanians at least!! So yeah we are on the right path on this one , Dodoma will grow big eventually. Remember Dar es salaam was a small fishing town back then , but look at Dar es salaam now 😊among the biggest city in Africa.
@@htx1873 what a beautiful comment ❤️
@@htx1873most of the video shows the current downton of Dodoma, the actual area where the government offices are built is miles out of the downtown area on the eastern side of the current Dodoma city, so worry less about the planning
dodoma is extremely hot
True. And they want to plant trees all over the city but it will take time
@@andreahennecart1923 they have to cause last time I was there about 12 years ago, my uncles where walking naked with boxers only. And that’s night time
