Not familiar with the XY-2 but I think they are essentially the same as a single printer. The XY3 SE includes the dual extruder and the laser engraver as well. Despite not being able to make it work. It depends on your needs.

Sorry mate. Had to return my printer. The other modes rely on software not yet compatible with Mac, so not had the chance to test it… :(
Your supposed to wait for the base to cool before you remove the printed part.
Yes, that’s already a print that stood there overnight so it was cool enough…
Does this work with Octoprint? This is a very important feature if I am going to get this printer.
I’m pretty sure it is but I’m not very familiar with Octopi as I never used it.
Do you experience filament jamming??
No, but to be honest I ended up returning my printer as I could not make it work with the Mac…
