Thanks Genie. So this was the slow one they played at the club's after wearing everyone out with the Bee Gees and other fast ones. Then they'd kick it all up again with ABBA's Dancing Queen. You might think I'm kidding, but I'm pretty spot on. Thanks Genie.

So, what happened to this kinda soul music? Remember back then in the 70's? There was as many big groups on the soul side as the rock! Are there any groups that are new still making this kinda soul music? I mean thers rock bands but theres no leading ones like the 70's... guess the soul side its the same. Its just oldies n i guess a hand full of girls come out thats new but its not music like this soul or rock.. its like a taylor swift style. I wish music like the 70 n 80's on both the soul n rock side would come back. Its just great music... not just some hook thats stays in yr head. The sound of the crap thats out the last 30 years sucks! Theres 1 or 2 thats ok onve in a while... Adele was great.. foo fighters is great but wheres that straight farward classic r & b and rock n roll sound, with meaningful lyrics? Everything changes i know but somethings are so great they dont need to chage! The soul n rock of the 70's even the younger generation digs it n wishes it would come back! I sure do. I even dig the street corner groups that could harmonize, remember "i only have eyes for you" ? I love stuff like tjat thanks to my mothers music collection. My mom was my, the very beginnings of rock n roll and Motown, my dad was r&b n my sister i got the beginnings of hard rock, my grandparents i got the real counrty music so i exstreamly familiar with the beginnings of all them listed, up to the beginnings of grunge. I listened to WLS Chicago growing up.. AM radio! Lol.. i remember 8 track in my sisters car! I guess im just missing good old music! But its like after disco, all the soul music lead singer's all went solo and after like 81" it was all over! So, if any one could tell me what groups on the r&b, soul music is any good drop me some names please! Much appreciated. Thank you very much for your time.
