OK DG, it's been 3 years and 25,000 views since first using the Vapor Clean Pro6 Duo -- how is it performing now? Because I've seen a few comments/reviews that say it is not so reliable and malfunctioned after only a few uses, and the cost to ship and repair is pricey. Your honest updated review would be very useful!
I jsut got one and it is already beeping and blinking at me! I cant find any help on the the website or anywhere. Maybe you can help me? The company told me to use Brita filtered water not distilled water that the outdate instructions say to use. Im a bit stressed over this. ALSO, there are no videos showing how to use it! cna you make one?
Do not buy it!!!!!!! I bought one and used it twice and it died after one year. They will charge you $70/hour service fee and no free shipping for repair. Life time warranty is a joke
Hey man it been 2 years how it holding up? What cons have you found and if they have a good customer service? Looking for a steamer for heavy duty equipment
Honeslty been thinking about trying out the harbor freight first then upgrade to this. Pricing is not a problem, just heard alot of good things about the HF
Thinking about picking up the McCulloch as I’m more of a weekend warrior. Stuck between the 1375 and 1385. About a week ago I saw the 1385 drop down to 170, basically the same price as the 1375 but of course I missed that deal. Now I’m wondering if it’s worth waiting for the price to drop again or just picking up the 1375. I’ve been looking around for any differences but don’t see much. Love to hear what you you gotta say about any of them.
Have you tried using this to totally clean the exterior? I'm really interested in trying to go almost entirely steam and rinseless for all washes (replacing the pressure washer) and vastly cut down on water use; curious how this one holds up for that kind of work.
Don't do it! Mine is broken for the third time!!! They don't last. I probably got 10 hours or less of use and like I said it just broke again. Now they say it's probably a circuit board. What haven't I replaced already? Original cost was approximately $800. Now after 2 repairs I've got about $1700 in it. Get a cheapo, we got a Shark while it was away for a repair. The Shark won't clean grout as well but overall, for $150 I can buy 6 of them for the cost of a Vapor Clean.
I wish I had gotten this one but I got the Pro5 instead. I should have spent the extra 300. It's easily worth the money. Even if you don't have a company, it's still worth getting. The continuous fill alone makes it worth it. Plus there's no significant pressure drop. On the Pro5, it drops when the tank gets low on water. It's a great machine, but this is a much better machine.
@@KSpotesYeah I would. It's continuous fill and it's more poweful. The VX5000 is great, but the Pro6Duo is just a better value. Those Italians really know how to make steamers.
Hi Detail Groove, been watching all your videos for a months now because I was looking to purchase this Vapor clean pro6 duo. My problem is that I am from Canada and I can't find any local supplier here in canada and from the US, it will cost me a lot to purchase it. I will definitely appreciate it if you can help me with this purchase that will not cost me a lot for shipping fee.
Vapor Clean is a borderline predatory brand. Their units tend to have issues within a few uses and they claim everything is covered under “warranty” but their repair cost is $75 PER HOUR
First I want to say that I like your style. I've been watching your videos for the past couple of years and you do a good job. I almost never leave comments but I wanted to ask you if you have seen there Steamer/Extractor in one small machine. You should look it up because I think you would absolutely love it. It comes with a steam only gun/hose and it isn't akward like the one that comes with the machine they sent you. If you get a chance check it out and let me know what you think about it. I'm debating on getting one myself I just found out about it last week myself.
Did you ever get the steamer/extractor? I was trying to decided between that and the pro6 duo myself. If you did purchase that, I'd be curious to hear how it's worked for you.
Hey Oscar...that was a great review between this steamer and your prior one; however it was not entirely unbiased. To be unbiased, you would have to rate this vapor clean against another model simular in nature. You basically were giving your opinion on how well you have found it's durability, ease of use, etc. Plus you got it for free. Not entirely twisting your arm??? Anyway, who would not choose this over a Mccoghich which you have to stop, refill, and have to wait 18 min. to reheat. This was more of a consumer review of this steamer. Good job overall. And...I was wondering what was the motto on your T shirt, which was visibly inside out. At least your honest...you missed a laundry day!! LOL
I think you need to re-read the title your video, you spend more time saying it's not what you should buy, you mention mcmullogh more than you Vapor clean duo when mentioning. And to say they should not buy it when starting up and then saying it helps with productivity is the opposite
Don't tell them not to buy it Oscar, if it's that good, go for it man, some people go for quality, the very first time, and don't look back. Now sell your old one and since you got that one for free, buy another one of these as a back up. Oh wait, maybe you should actually give the old one a way, to one of your subscribers for a change, ha ha
Guys learn the difference between a vapor machine and a steam machine, not the same that is why the cost plus once you get into a continuous refill only the top of the line have it. I agreed with the reviewer but the best out front if you can. Time is money and this vapor will no damage anything inside the car you are cleaning. Good luck to all👍
Oscar I don’t think you know the difference between vapor machine and a steam machine and by the way this machine is excellent and worthy of the price . One should start with the best and save on time and possible damage to delicate parts of the car.

You have any dedicated headliner cleaning video with use of steamer?
I would like to see that too
love mine - it’s over 4 years now
Does this model have the capability of extracting desiderio plus?

I dont like upgrading you loose more money like that. I buy the best right up front. you loose less money
Hmm
Buy once, cry once.
What machine you use to extract water
How much water do you average need for a full interior steam? :) thanks for your videos and for keeping it real🙏
This or the vx5000?

I have the Pro6 duo steam cleaner and it has been the best steam cleaner I have used! Hands down best quality and worth every bit of the price.
Still working well for you?
What made you decide to sell your VX 5000 after a year and a half of using it?
Didnt have a generator. It'd blow circuits when plugged into outlet
@@DetailGroove do the vapor pro blow fuses also?
Waiting for an answer if the Vapor Clean Dual blows fuses like the X5000!
Guessing thats a YES
@@DetailGrooveshouldn’t blow circuits on 20 amps
Do you have information on the Vapor Clean Solo? it seems to be cheaper.
Question do you have contracts with dealerships to clean there cars?
Oscar you’re not fooling us with that super clean shirt flipped inside out. 😂
Watch the end of the video😅
Detail Groove I commented this the first 3 seconds lol then at the end I was like oh but I still left it on lol
You ever get the chance to use the vapor rino 145?
Will be purchasing this one pretty soon

We need a garage tour !!!
My Vapor Steam only lasted 8 years with very limited use.
Yo that ending though 🤣🤣🤣🔥🔥🔥💪
Does the steam come out hot ?
Bruh how else do you think steam is made lol
Lol steam is hot
If you're a beginner use a cheaper steamer and learn how to use it first
Entropy and enthalpy. Steam does work (I am old, and that’s a reference to Kool Mo Dee)
Will get something like that in the future right now I'm using a cheap one does the job...
Great video!
Another awesome and information packed video. I have had the alfa for a couple years and love it.

The day I started studying the VX-5000 to replace my McCullough... DAMN IT! 🤑
Yeah it's a huge difference!
I don’t detail,clean,or anything a steamer is used for...l but I want it
There's should be a reasonable size steam carpet extractor, like the regular upholstery machine but just steam. 🤔
Yes. Mytee
