One thing to note regarding the D10 is the handle style. The D9 handle was thin and flat, which I didn't really like too much. W-King improved the handle on the D10. It's not a little thicker and has grooves on the underneath for your fingers. Much better design!
You know... The thought just came to me a few minutes ago that the focus with W-King may not have been so much on sound difference, or an upgrade in the sound between the two, but rather on the application and use between the two speakers. The build designs are meant for different occasions and uses between the two, and the sounds that they produce just happens to project differently because of the differences, and the uniqueness between the two different build designs. Nice review i think they both sound great with no distortion but the speaker to the right of screen has a more clearer sound
X10 to me it came out a bit cleaner on the high’s but a slight low on the bass. Great review bud
My Bose NC 700 says the otherwise. D10 sounds more open, brighter, balanced.

I just love the clear looking buttons on the D10. Some speakers it's totally the same color as the background and smooth. So if your in low light it's impossible to find.
Yeah, I call these "Braille Buttons" since you cant see them and have to feel them. Too many speakers have these type of buttons and that stinks.
That $25 coupon made this a pretty easy buy. How about a video comparing this to the JBL boombox or the Sony xg500?
This isn't really in the league of the $500 Boombox and XG500. The T9 is more comparable and I do have a video of the XG500 vs. the T9.

The only reason I like the d10 is the protected passive radiators. One side on my x10 keeps getting pushed in and I have to pop it back out.
For 100 euros (that what i paid in Spain with a 23 euro discount voucher) its amazing full stop i had the D8 (got stolen) than bought the D9 (fight with a friend who smashed it) so now this one it does not dissapoint and as W-King realise larger (just realised a 100wt)the rest fall in price yet not in quality

The d10 sounds cleaner but that may just be an illusion of lesser bass. Is there a notable difference in bass?
Not really. Both of these are close overall. Both do lose some of the bass output at max volume. Both are very similar in max volume. I think these boil down to the style of speaker you want more so than their performance.
Does it finally deliver deep bass or is it still only upper bass like all other W-King speakers ?
What do you consider "deep" bass? You can only squeeze so much extension from two little woofers in a small cabinet.

I know.. I am struggling to decide between them. Probably t9 is overkill for having around the pool and in my room moving it around. But it sure looks pretty bad lol
@@karmasutra4774 I had a really hard time with this decision as well but I ended up going with the T9 because it has a lot more balanced sound compared to the D10. With the D10 you either get good bass but no highs or really good mids and highs but no bass between the two EQ modes. I am more than willing to give up the dust and water proofing and the bigger battery that the D10 has for a much better sounding speaker.

Equivalent JBL is just under 300euro I would buy 2 D10s and haave change no brainer W-King are really giving JBL amd Bose a challenge
HOw about the stereo separation? I feel like more separation ( D10) than (x10) it is true?
To be real you don't really notice much stereo separation on a boombox with speakers just inches apart.

If you are happy with the D10, then quit looking at others....lol. But seriously, the X20 is a much more impressive speaker than the D10, which is still good for it's size and price.

Will the d10 link to the w king d9 or w king d9-1. Difference with the d9 and d9 -1 is these 2 have a different chip and won't link to each other
It won't since it isn't a d9 also but you can connect 2 d10s together

If you had a choice to get the d10 or boom 2, which would you choose?
I think the D10 is a really good speaker for under $100. I think right now it's going for around $80-$85 on Amazon. The Boom 2 is $130, so around $50 price difference. I think the Boom 2 has the edge in being a little more compact, lighter and a little better bass. The Boom 2 also has the app and the custom EQ option within it, so that's a big plus. However, If you are going up to $130 I would also consider the Tribit Stormbox Blast, which is currently $145 on Amazon. It's a heavier, bigger speaker than the Boom 2, but I like the sound quality and bass capability more so than the Boom 2. Tribit also has an app with custom EQ ability. So IMO, unless you simply don't want a heavier speaker, the Blast for $15 more than the Boom 2 is a better bang for your buck.

Inside, probably so. Provided you don't need it super loud.

You should have played other styles of music, not just techno. We need an idea of how they handle different genres. Please do another review with rock, pop, hip hop... Or at least tell us how these 2 compared when you experimented with other types of music. Fullness, cleanness... Also I'm wondering if the grill on the X10 is a metal, plastic or fabric mesh. Thanks.

If not, the W-King X10 is currently on sale ($73.66 after current coupon and code) and is really close to the D10 in sound performance, but has, IMO a better cabinet with fabric covering. @@Phuong_Nguyen_ ONN speakers are very mediocre and have poor reliability. I've read many reports of their speakers just dying for no reason. I would avoid ONN, but that's just my opinion. I think you will be happy with the D10. I'm getting the MIFA Wildbox in the next day or two and will have a video on it soon.

I sent back my d10 today because its was not really any louder than my d9 I was expecting the extra 10 watts to make an overall difference but it's not louder than the d9 ,also the d9 has way more bass my d10 was very high orientated thin on mids and bass

Thought I read the d10 cam tilt to angle speakers upwards??
You can tilt it back, but it becomes more unstable. It's then resting on the edge of the foot/pad and the back edge of the plastic body.
@Jay's Straight Up Reviews I was tempted to grab this speaker but ima wait till they do the t9 upgraded version hoping for some waterproofing but this I'm lookin at it and felt I'm paying for some lights too and I just want whatever they're charging to be because of what they got into the build and sound altho I think this thing looks killer!!!!!

@Jay's Straight Up Reviews when I got 2 of the x10 I emailed them about the t9 asking if waterproof version would be coming and jay they said the d10 with lights would come first followed by the upgraded t9 with waterproofing I'd bet it's here within a month

The X10, like the D10, has independent volume from the device you are using to play music from. Make sure you keep tapping the + button on the X10 until you hear it beep, which means it's at max volume. Then you can adjust the volume. up or down from your device. Hope that helps. If not, you may have a defective speaker if there is still no volume.
forget your speaker in the bluetooth settings and then re pair and should fix your issue

Do a web search on Aiwa SS-X400DSP PRO and SS-X300DSP PRO. I suspect if/when W-King releases a partybox sized speaker it will look like those. Looks like the same manufacturer of those make rebranded T9 (Aiwa SB-X350P), and rebranded D10 (Aiwa MI-X300 Frontier), and rebranded D9 (Aiwa MI-X280 Lunatic).

@@Nathan-tn5yb I definitely would not say exactly. Totally different materials and power. The Toshiba looks like a cheap weak, flimsy plastic kiddy toy. The Aiwas look way better built, more legit looking, larger drivers (8" woofers) and full front protective grill, different, better LEDs. But who knows unless someone sees them in person and tests how they really sound. Their specs claim 122 dB max output. I would be very surprised if that were true.
