I had to wait til my dinosaur-lover was out of the room to watch this! Otherwise I'd be getting too many requests, and it's just so hard to say "no" to those little faces! 😆
Those lovies are so cute! I haven't ever made one because I don't have any babies in my life right now, but maybe one day I'll try that out! I do love the one with the stuffed body too. I didn't know she had those! Enjoyed your video 🤗
Marsha, every time I see a video come up of yours I become excited to see what plushie/ lovey you are going to do next!! Have you done the elephant from the book yet?? The new plushies are so adorable as well!! Oh how I would LOVE to get this book!!! I LOVE babies!!! 😊 Everything you have done is so precious!! Keep crocheting yarny friend 💜💜💜
One of the things I love about MMM is that we can experiment with the different techniques of attaching different ears, spikes, shapes etc I think I also would go for the spikes over bobble stitch as I think they are a little too big for bobble stitch. The only dinos I have are the recent plush and the one in the book because I originally got so confused as to which dino was which that I ended up just changing the unicorn into the dinosaur but I'm looking forward to trying the new pattern and had to buy all of them because of the half price special they had. I'm in the middle of making my big Winnie the dragon from Red Mill but not sure if I'll give her legs or flippers and change her in the loch ness monster
I just made that dinosaur this weekend, I ended up going to the pattern in the book to do the spikes, I think they looked better than the bobble stitch
@@MimiMakesKeepsakes Well I should take out the bobble stitches, but after taking out one, I decided to just leave the ones I had done and use the other method to finish it. I don’t mind sewing those on, actually easier than doing the bobble stitches.
These are so cute, where did you get the rattle for the lovey. I see several on Amazon, but I want to hear them before I purchase. I like the way this one sounds.
Thank you! I did get these from amazon. I will post the link. I also like to using the rattles in my Octos Have a great day!! ua-cam.com/video/Ad7LPRT1ymc/v-deo.html
Sorry if this is a silly question....do the knots serve a purpose or are they just a design feature? I think the MMM designs are precious. I've bought the book and a few patterns but haven't made any yet...very soon though. Yours are adorable!
Would you say the stuffed dinosaur is harder to make than the dinosaur lovey? I am a beginner and trying to decide which to try. I see that the stuffed one is no sew, is that easier or actually harder? 😅

That is the fun part of creating is making it your own. I will have to check out Red Mill. Thanks for sharing!!
I didn't know you were in Mississippi! Me too! I'm up in the Hattiesburg area
Neighbors by a few hours!😁
Did you have trouble starting the body from the head on the dino? I bought the book and can't get past the head.... :(
Sorry to hear that. No, I didn't have trouble with the head. I did have to make an extra ear. 😅
I just made that dinosaur this weekend, I ended up going to the pattern in the book to do the spikes, I think they looked better than the bobble stitch
I was soooo close to doing that! Have a great day!! :)

@@CreatedbyFrancie I don't mind sewing pieces on, either.☺️

Are you going to do a full tutorial
Good morning! Yes, I would like to do more how-to tutorials. It's on my list!🥰

It seems the knots are a design feature. Have a great day!🥰
Am I just now noticing the prom picture in the background?
My forever Valentine!

The knotted plushie is not hard; I am sure you could do it. I would start with the dino lovey 1st, though. 🫶🏻
I thought the body was supposed to be left empty or not stuffed?
Correct - the loveys are not stuffed. The new plushie patterns are.🤟🏻
@@MimiMakesKeepsakes I had just noticed that when you had shown the pattern! 🥰
