Facts. I learned this from my mother and grandmother as a child and as a result, never played the fool. Specifically, "never love a man more than you love yourself and never put anything past a man."

@@wendybesse90 Lol! Believe it or not I always had great relationships with boys/men, but here you go: Boys only want one thing. Never go with someone who spends more time in the mirror than you do (or thinks he’s more attractive than you). Don’t tell the next man what you allowed the last man to do to you…you’re just giving a blueprint for how bad he can treat you. You can’t be too nice to them (boys only want love if it’s torture). The prettier you are, the more likely he is to cheat - if he got you, he starts to believe that others want him too. Never split the check or pay the primary household bills, that’s his responsibility. Cheating, mental, verbal, or physical abuse is not to be tolerated. If his pattern in the past has been to date a certain type but wants to date you because you’re “different” from others like you, he's still more attracted to the original preference and will eventually return.

@@skeryl7426 I’m with you. God first and then yourself - “selfish” has been stigmatized as negative. I’ve witnessed many lives lost too soon and dreams unfulfilled by those who have loved others too much and out of order.

    4. Don't neglect personal growth besides the relationship
    5. Don't over sacrifice
    6. Don't allow emotional manipulation
    7. Don't ignore warning signs

Wow I love this - Stay true to who you were created to be, stay true to yourself and always put yourself first never change yourself to make a man happy. Loosing your identity in a relationship will lead you to be disconnected to your own life you've lost your connection to yourself stay true to the person you were created to be. Don't shrink yourself for the relationship because your identity is what makes you unique 💗

this one! too much avoidance leads to disconnect.. of course it's natural to seek closeness from your partner and it's normal to compromise in the relationship where you both feel valued, give and take.
if you don't put value in the relationship, just be single lol
i can feel avoidant people are rejoicing with this video.. why be in relationship when there's too much independence?
of course when we love someone and care for them, we crave that intimacy so we can build a solid foundation.. i'm not saying be anxious and be toxic but if you really love someone, you'll show them that they're the only one for you.. seriously just talk about it and don't play mind games while in a relationship

I think it was a sermon or lecture. Should he have whispered? Dr. Munroe died in 2014, so he can't change his delivery of messages. However, this seems like AI in many ways. Before 2014, would someone have used the words gaslight, toxic, and red flags? He would have a bit more variation in his voice and would have likely referenced the Bible. Hmmm?? Still a good message!!!

Eve was made for Adam, not Adam for Eve...
Women have this feminitity that a man will fully die for that woman.
I think there should be boundaries and man n women should be 100% committed regardless how the relationship is going but never give yp or throw away the relationship just because one peraon doeant likw how the relationship is going...
    Communication n trust is key

I would have found this video easier to listen better if you didn't yell through the whole thing.. sounds shaming and preaching. Just a suggestion for delivering very sensitive information. Consider the audience you are trying to relate and appeal to. Good information. People who don't feel worthy don't need to feel shamed. We would love to hear this sensitive information with a little sensitivity and don't sound so in your face. Please listen to your delivery..very important.
