    That was a clear, concise explanation. I play at Resorts in AC, which has been giving away four comped cruises a year. On my first Princess cruise, I did well enough to earn a comped cruise, which has turned 8th five comped cruises, and I am working my way up their loyalty chain. I don’t get the amount of free play that you do, but I get some, and today I booked a 14-day cruise in a balcony stateroom that would have cost me $5722, but my total cost including insurance was $549. Do I lose money in the casino? Sure I do, but it doesn’t come close to what I get back in free rooms, free meals, free luggage, free shows, and best of all, free cruises! Thank you for sharing your experience. I love your strategies!

    I have the MGM and Caesar's cards I got on our last Vegas trip. The tip about checking to see that the card is still active was great- thank you! I see when I got on the Rewards sites that shopping and dining in certain venues adds points to your status. Will you be covering that on future parts? I am a casual gambler but spend lots on shows, dining and getting drinks in the lounges at the resorts. I'll be back in Vegas in early October, so this is very timely! Thank you for posting.

      Yes Amy! We will definitely be covering the point system that these casino programs have and what that means to the players as well as how to get the most out of it! We plan to do a new segment 1x a week🤞🏼
      We are in Vegas right now, we will have lots of content from this trip going up soon. Thank you for watching and commenting😊

    Hello Joyce, a week away embarkation day on Apex. What do you do with valuables on excursions & do you take your passport on excursions? ❤🚢

    • @TheTravelingGamblers
      @TheTravelingGamblers  Рік тому +3

      Oh, how exciting! We just adore the Apex!! We hope you have a fantastic time, Bon Voyage 🥳🥳🥳
      We never take our passports off the ship, we take our drivers license or state ID instead. We do that because if anything ever happened during our travels and we needed leave the cruise early and get home from a different country, it would be very very difficult to do without a passport and a drivers license is much easier to replace. I will typically take off most if not all of my jewelry, except my wedding ring when we go in to ports also, no point in drawing unwanted attention to us. We leave our valuables in our safe, the ship is the safest place.

    Do you feel that getting free cruises through comps completely cover the losses you suffered to earn them?

    • @TheTravelingGamblers
      @TheTravelingGamblers  Рік тому +7

      More than covers it. We get so much more value from our play than we spend in the casinos plus, we OCCASIONALLY win $ 😉

      @@TheTravelingGamblers one thing cruise lines do often provide is gambling credit when you get a complimentary cruise. But the trick is that it's not cash but rather free play. My incentive to not to gamble as much is that I don't need another free cruise offer. I have already received three complimentary cruise offers within less than a month. While I went in the hole $6,500, I have gotten my money back in terms of complimentary cruises. But to cover for some of the other charges, I feel very tempted to gamble the free play and then cash out what I earned. You are able to provide guest services (at least on Royal Carribean, cash to help settle some of your onboard charges).

    MSC offers totally free, comped cruises. No port fees or taxes.

      Q. DO I HAVE TO PAY PORT TAXES AND GOVERNMENT FEES?
      A. No, MSC Cruises will take care of all taxes and stateroom fare of a double occupancy
      stateroom for Complimentary Cruise recipients.

      We might have to try MSC one of these days. I also hear they don't issue W2G's for jackpots, but I can't confirm that. Thanks for watching and commenting.

      @@TheTravelingGamblers Thanks for the reply. You are correct, no tax forms on MSC. No matter the amount of your win.

      @@TheTravelingGamblers both statements are true: no port fees or taxes are charged by MSC on comped cruises, and no tax forms are issued for wins over $1200, because the line is registered out of Italy. They also have the best coffee, pizza, and chocolate on the seas, in my opinion; they are working on achieving American expectations in the areas of dining and customer service.

    If you are diamond on Royal, or Elite on Celebrity, MGM and The Hard Rock will status match you. Gold on Royal Group. Not sure about Hard Rock. Agree," Never Play with Money You Can Not Lose!"

      Keep playing and ALWAYS make sure your card is active on your machine. We will going into the different status levels, how they are achieved and the benefits you get with each one in future videos. It’s a lot of information. We hope to do another video within the next week. Our goal is 1 a week till we say everything we know ☺️😉

    Is there a way to make your money last longer on the Slot Machines & still rack up points quickly ?? For example, playing pennies or playing Dollar slots ?? If I play dollar slots, will the money be gone too quickly ?? I'm just wondering what strategy I should use to get the most points to try to earn a Free cruise but not spend my entire bankroll in 1 night, lol !!

    • @TheTravelingGamblers
      @TheTravelingGamblers  Рік тому +2

      That’s a difficult question to answer Todd, it really depends on the lack of the machine that you’re sitting at. Jon and I play the penny slots and will typically bet the two higher bets on the machine and if it’s not hitting go right to the lowest bet and play that for a little while. The dollar denomination, we feel doesn’t hit quite as often, but when it does hit, it’s typically bigger. We typically reserve playing the higher demons when we have won some money and have a bigger bankroll. I hope this helps.

    Just found your channel!!! Great info! Do you both use just one card at casinos and cruises or do you each use your own?

    • @TheTravelingGamblers
      @TheTravelingGamblers  Рік тому +2

      Hello and welcome! We each use our own card. We play enough to warrant it and this way each get our own offers.
      We do recommend to any couples out there that both gamble on slots to play on the same card at least in the beginning until they get a higher status and more established. I hope this helps! Thank you so much for your support, thank you for watching and commenting we are so happy to have you join us on our adventures❤️

    On Celebrity we just put in Seapass card and $40 was charged to our account. Don't recall anything about a pin or DOB. Does it charge to your account without being activated for tracking?

    • @TheTravelingGamblers
      @TheTravelingGamblers  Рік тому

      No it does not. Before you can charge any $ to your room bill you must set up your pin. Double check that the charge on your bill says “casino”. If you’re still unsure about the charge I suggest going to guest relations to inquire. I hope this helps. Thank you for watching and commenting, we appreciate your support☺️

    The difference in winning and losing in a casino is when you decide to walk out the door.
