think most of the jumps track exploits in this video are sadly fixed now :( can sort of understand why however alot of them are not easy to accoplish at all the old ps1 wipeouts never bothered to fix them even in subsequent platinum and special edition re releases im guessing this is more of a multiplayer issue then
I never liked the 'jump through half the map' type of exploits in games. You're right, they're not easy to do, but it's still not really playing fair, even more so if you can reliably 60-70% of the time. I remember there was one that I knew of when I used to play a lot of Wipeout 64. After I found out about it and learnt how to do it easily, I just smashed everyone and all the AI. It ruined that whole track for me. I mean, it's impressive, but I'd hardly say it's sportsmanlike to do in a tournament. To me, it's kind of like a criminal getting off free because of a loopwhole in the laws. Or something like that.
Dont use them much myself i do prefer to play wipeout legit most of the time just a bit of fun now and again most people are never gonna find alot of the harder jumps really if were honest Its kinda the highest compliment to a dev if your community are willing keep playing the game years after release to find bugs and exploits in an otherwise immaculately made and coded game or in this case decades lol

most of the tracks have since been remade and cuts are quickly fixed
