Content Model is one of the more popular terms used to describe custom content types and taxonomies outside of WordPress. Collections is another one, we're just not used to hearing it in the WP world. And I agree, content modeling should be fast-tracked to core.
Thanks for the insight. Some really good changes ahead. For custom post types I think that will take much longer before it is introduced into WP core but it would be great.
When will WordPress have an official style guide / css framework from their admin area? This has been _the_ number one complaint when writing plugins / using WordPress. Everyone creates their own custom css for the plugin making the eco system look like a mess.
I am not sure that renaming the query loop to something else would be better. I like the fact that it describes almost exactly what is happening. You are building a query to extract records from the database. What's not to lake about that?
Think of it like building a house. "Query Loop" would be like describing the process of getting materials from the query. "Loop Builder" is about taking those materials and constructing a beautiful and functional home. Both are important, but the latter focuses on the end result and the user's perspective.
@@WPCrafter IMHO It is more like building multiple houses and the query loop defines where to gather the materials/fields from the database to build each one. On another note I am really happy to see you back, you were away too long.
Thats a good question :-). I don't like how many clicks it takes to change a global style. I would prefer if there was a slide out panel, something I have been adding to all my software products.

Exciting times.
Good video. Thanks.
Yes, love new things. Refinements.

Many improvements, thank you!
Good to see that they keep on improving!
Great stuff thanks for the update
Are there plans to add responsive 'break points' ever (ie. block builders like Kadence, Spectra)? That would be a game changer IMO.
Really good video!
If we are already using ACF, do you think Create Content Model will automatically see the fields, or will there be a migration?
They would be smart to add that. I think they have some incentives to as well lol :-).
As a relative web newbie who's into InDesign, I like what I what I see here. Do you know when they will push this new version?
This will be released in November.
Nice! Thanks for the info, and the great videos. Will use them to educate myself more.

Is that your "watered" down opinion??
I see some positive change!
Super Cool Thanks!
waiting for this...
how t create a empty page in wordpress so that i cna only execute my pure html code in it ?
Its looking good :)
Before I didn't want to ever use the block editor, after this update I've changed my mind to almost never use it.
I'm a sucker for the slick interactions/animations. But yea, lots of folks rather stick to what they are already using.
@@WPCrafter It looks pretty good aesthetically but without a solid CSS framework that makes it scalable, it's useless.
Create Content Model plugin VS ACF?
Yea, it would need a repeater field. But that would be easy, just needs to support the list block.
What are the new parts, you don't like?

You mean “New Gutenberg 6.7”?
boring updates as is the norm from wordpress
Refinement, like Apple iOS updates.
Nothing much exciting
Yea, except the last part. But that is not shipping with this release 😭
At this point, we do not need exciting. We need boring.
