- Heya, this bit of the episode was so funny I needed to get it out of my head, so I made a fan animatic ^^
It was a good exercise, I had a lot of fun with the "bad guy" design.
Of course it's not perfect, but I'm satisfied with it honestly. :3

@@jo2003se Wes is the name Jelo and co gave the protagonist in their playthrough of colosseum, which is his canonical name (in english anyway)
in their playthrough of pokemon XD: gale of darkness (the sequel game which is shown in DogsInLove 2&3) they named the protagonist Exit, which isn't his canonical name (apparently his canonical name is michael?)
I love ruis :3 face when he says "you met Grandpa!" It is EXACTLY how I pictured it

Headcanon that Aipom is ready to be purified, this guy just doesn't have access to the relic stone.
@@Mehetti That's beautiful. Like, he felt bad that his Pokémon had to become a Shadow Pokémon, and treated it like his best friend to help it however he could. I love that.
@@ethnictendo i choose to add to this headcanon by suggesting that he didn't even shadowify that aipom, someone else did before meeting their untimely demise on a mission and this guy just got given aipom afterwards

I am not a fan of Pokémon based porn (specifically the percentage of it based on the non-human characters, the human stuff is fine, I mean these guys an entire video just discussing the many appeals of various human characters), but realistically you can’t tell me in universe their isn’t some sort of historical precedent for Human-Pokémon “relations”. Especially seeing as I think in universe the Machamp family is really popular in the weight lifting community.

My head canon is that AIpom’s heart was purified by this guy after the events of the game. From all the love and being emotional support Pokémon to this poor disabled man.

I do plan on doing other animatics . Some fan animatic, some original characters animatic, it will depend on my mood.

Only way this could’ve been better is seeing Espeon and Umbreon’s reactions to this as well (if they had any).
this was my favorite bit in the collusseum video because like, According to The Lore :tm: because these games were super edgy Shadow Pokemon are outright abused to the point where they're in basically a hyper stimulated version of fight or flight response so completely ignoring that for a trainer who literally trains with his pokemon is nice and wholesome.
