Yam cast as Exit here so Jello could include her out-of-character discomfort every time the HaT cult appeared (leading to the great payoff of "My friends don't like you!") was an inspired choice
And now I want to do a fan continuation where you play someone else with an eevee starter (maybe Jolteon's kid maybe his brother or sister) who has to finally stop HaT once and for all since they don't let the family of that Jolteon have any peace... I'd like to imagine that because Crap is growing closer to Jolteon he's absorbing the anger that Jolteon is containing, and that's why towards the end he doesn't censor himself or anything.
@@Squincy.B They also sort of canonically made his evolution tied to one of Jolteon's laughter storms, so I assumed he just absorbed some Eldritch energy right then and there.
I can assure you this is also how a real relationship works. You take the rough parts of a person's day and you help them feel better, and even though it might make you feel rough inside too, you welcome it, and knowing that you've helped them helps you feel better about yourself too.
My favorite kind of ship is platonic friendship and I got to say that Jolteon and Crap Gorps was the sweetest thing I’ve seen in a while. Like, I want a fanfic where jolteon ends up destorying the world but spares crap gorps because they’re friends and then they do friend god stuff together
Crap gorps is just trying to keep reality in check and Jolteon from doing anything unintentionally bad while Jolteon sneezes and wipes out an entire population of Goldeens by mistake
That ending was beautiful. The duet, Crap Gorps decimating at the end, Jorge and Poochy being the dogs that did indeed fall in love, And most importantly, Justy died.
open-eyed smiling Jolteon is actually unnerving. Him laughing is a funny bit, but him sitting there with Satan's own pupils boring into the souls of his victims is just something else
@@scylla1772(sing-song) "I assure you I can!" Was one of the most unsettling parts honestly. I think actually leaning into that one hangup/flaw that was established later with Jolteon was a great choice.
You know you did well when, by sheer power of pokemon improv, you managed to make a ledian feel like one of, if not THE MOST important member on a pokemon team. We love Crap ❤
Or he catches Espeon leaving with the shovel, looks up from his newspaper and just goes, "Hmm...must be heading out to bury one of Jolteon's friends again. We really need to buy that kid some rubber mittens or something..."
Jolteon is, like, the cutest eldritch horror I've ever seen. Super sweet boy that just loves his friends, and maybe has a few issues knocking about, but he cares.
I love that they make like a whole subplot of people pretending to be them which leads to faulty clones and also Wound the ghost Angel mind controlling people and it’s never brought up again
Wound at the very least gets an ending, they were the one compelling Justy to do all the horrible things he did, he sold his soul to them but then after Wound gets all they need out of him they just leave him to die. I think that’s a worthy conclusion. The clone thing was just kinda a side bit but Wound was definitely the overarching villain
I never thought I would see a naïve demon child commune with the dispairing spectral remnants of his ancestor and follow it with saying "Aww that's so cuuuute!!!"
"What gem is more valuable than the sparkling stone of friendship, deep inside of us, ready to be mined?" Me: "Diamonds." Tannenbaum, not a second later: "Diamonds". Didn't know he had Mind Reader in his moveset.
The fact that you included the cover song and sacrificed being able to be get any money from this video just to give the Dogs in Love series the best send off it can have? It means a lot so thank you, it wouldn't have been the same without it.
I have never loved a Ledian as much as I love Crap Gorps. And the true finale being the defeat of the evil Justy is the kind of ending that we just don't get enough from our stories.
Jello, I ran a Pokemon DnD game where Jolteon cameo'd as an Eevee who got stolen by an evil team and when my party found him the entire underground base he was captured in was the scene of a horror movie. Every single one of the evil grunts got traumatized by that Eevee and my party was busting out laughing as they rescued him. What's even better was that one of my players had this running gag where any major Pokemon character with an Eeveeultion was a family member of his so Wes and Exit are his far removed cousins. That particular player *also had a bloodthirsty Jolteon* so I feel like it runs in the family as some sort of eldritch prophecy

The soul healing joy of watching Jolteon and Crap Gorps bond with their found family team, the intense satisfaction of seeing Justy get what he deserves and the bittersweetness of having the perfect trilogy come to an end... Dogs in Love truly changed me for good. Thank you for this phenomenal play through! I'm so happy to have another delicious video to inject serotonin directly into my brain again and again. (the other ones being Dogs in Love and Dogs in Love 2)
27:49 "I'll use these words of encouragement!" "What!?" *Hits self in confusion* "Oh my god, it's so encouraging!" "I'm shocked." Absolutely. Hilarious.
Tannenbaum is SO CHAOTIC. I love them, they’re easily my favourite. They’re INSANE and it’s awesome. Weirdly enough a lot of this video scared the Crap Gorps out of me. Wound being this reoccurring presence and that final scene with Justy… damn. Also Jolteon was SCARY. Like SCARY SCARY. I loved this series so much. Thanks again Jello!
We finally have the trilogy, I can stop watching these over, and over, and over and over and over and over and over and over and over… Oh who am I kidding, these won’t ever get boring
I think it's a good example of how your environment can really shape you as an individual. Jolteon was literally born from the fires of Hell, yet he's the sweetest good boi because his dads taught him that friends don't normally like their hearts being stopped because they didn't want to play tag.
This epilogue on the dogs in love series was very beautiful jello. Thank you and everyone involved for bringing us these simple joys that we call entertainment.
Okay, hear me out: We can play let's go Eevee and pretend it's Chapter 4 of the saga. No? No? Please! I still need you. This content cheers me up like few other things
Dogs in Love is genuinely my favorite thing on UA-cam. I rewatch the whole trilogy semi-regularly and am emotionally attached to these characters. That final transition from unevolved to evolved while Jolteon and Crap Gorps sing "For Good" gets me in a way some silly commentary on two bad Pokémon games has no right to. Amazing stuff!
I was curious about what Jello was going to do to continue the joke with the evolution of Wailmer but Yam really said "NEXT BIT PLEASE" and cut it off lol
I never imagined that I would think, "Aww that's so cuuuute!!!" after witnessing a gullible demon child converse with the dismal ghostly remains of his ancestor.
and i sit here staring at the end screen the mouse in my hand. the loss of a love in my eyes mixed with the abundance of tears, I cried, only a few things have genuinely made me cry from the loss of them and this is one of them. and I'm aware that this will not be seen but the genuine feeling I put in to this comment reflects the genuine love for this trilogy. I love these dog. this trilogy reunited me with my love of this channel and I'm happy I stayed. I'm happy you inspired me to take on my dreams and sparked the passion I now have for the vocal and preforming arts 10/10 thank you
Like I get Justy's death was supposed to be really gratifying & everything, but just adding in that lore of Wound manipulating him throught his entire life kinda re-contextualized everything for me, & also I really liked him in the way you like an asshole like him, so i'm angry that Wound is still on the loose, this story isn't over 'till Jolteon eats Wound's soul! Give us Dogs In Love 4! (eventually, like 2 years time)
I love how part 1 was about this Violent rebellion which slowly transition to a Harem anime and over the course of parts 2 & 3 it became this extremely dark Fantasy with flavours of the power of friendship
You know, I think the reason I love this series so much is that, despite obviously being like an improv parody, it still fits in with the core themes of the main franchise: friendship. A lot of Pokémon “fan”works or parody stuff is like, just stupid animal abuse jokes or whatever. This series has always been about bonds and relationships and friends and the like. I love it. And I love how the main antagonist, Justy, was a selfish incel dick head who only cared about his own safety and didn’t have or want any friends besides himself. It’s so good.
This. . . This finale is better than I could've hoped for. Ever plotline has been capped, Justy is dead, the song at the end. . . Glad ya didn't rush this!
My heart bleeds at such a profoundly funny and heartfelt trilogy to come to an end, for alas it has brought much joy to me. Thank you weird little dogs and friends, voiced by funny people with good improv skills.
I love how Exit more and more has been reacting to the pokemon shenanigans, implying that over the course of the story he understands them more Yet another effect of the power of [eldritch radiation] friendship
I would kill for a whole show where it’s just Jolteon and Crap Gorps. It could be like a kids show where they just like learn lessons and occasionally hit at being an eldritch horror Edit: yeah no I need all of them
Honestly, when I watched the Vods, I had several laughing fits already, so I didn't think you could improve the content that much, but oh man! This was really charming and the little images of Poochy, Jolteon, Horge, Crapgorps etc. made this way funnier. Kudos to everyone who worked on this and created pictures of like Craig Stantler who showed up for like 10 seconds.
Ya know when you have that one comfort series that you can genuinely watch as many times as possible on loop without wearing out how much you adore it? This trilogy has been that for me since the first installment dropped and I couldn't have hoped for a more satisfying conclusion. 11/10. Would only put a microchip in my brain for the express purpose of downloading this into it directly.
My God that was a ridiculously good cover of For Good. One of my favorite tropes is when something not made to be taken seriously suddenly locks in out of nowhere and does something really unironically high quality.
I love how Tannenbaum said 'bitch' and Jolteon immediately got upset and emitted enough electricity to kill Simphony. But when Crap Gorps said 'fuck' so aggressively, Jolteon was just mildly stunned.
I forgot what an abomination Jolteon was in this universe. Also the editing on this is absolutely impeccable. I am such a fan of the Dogs In Love series. I watch it at least once a year.
I love this group and all the hilarious and wholesome characters that emerge from their roleplay. Crap Gorps despite his f'ing name, is one of my favorite. His confidence builds so gradually across the trilogy. Him getting the time to shine after his growth really made me smile. Thanks for everything as always.

I love how CG’s development was overcoming his insecurities through a mixture of moral support and getting fed up with his friend's nonsense.
And a bit of demonic posession, can’t forget that
I'd like to imagine that because Crap is growing closer to Jolteon he's absorbing the anger that Jolteon is containing, and that's why towards the end he doesn't censor himself or anything.
like Cheez Borger and Chikkin Nuggit.

Yeah, that checks out.
I love Crap Gorps going insane from trying to be wingman to a pair of dogs.
He knows that's how Jolteon came into existence so he wants to see it happen again.
Justy died and dogs fell in love. Peak fiction.
In all seriousness, this is an adorable little trilogy of videos and I'm happy I got to experience it.

QUICK, AO3 WRITERS, TO YOUR KEYBOARDS!
SIR YES SIR
Crap gorps is just trying to keep reality in check and Jolteon from doing anything unintentionally bad while Jolteon sneezes and wipes out an entire population of Goldeens by mistake
But like unintentionally I’d imagine, but even he could contain himself enough to avoid Crap Gorps
They have big Goku and Krillin energy: Absurdly powerful but well-meaning simpleton and his mere mortal, but patient and sensible best friend.
That ending was beautiful. The duet, Crap Gorps decimating at the end, Jorge and Poochy being the dogs that did indeed fall in love,
And most importantly, Justy died.
Truly the best ending we could get.
The cycle continues
I just got that, I feel stupid
YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Truly... they were all dogs... in love.
Oh dear, Jolteon has become slightly more evil since last time.
Jolteon can be a little evil. As a treat :)
It's all the souls
open-eyed smiling Jolteon is actually unnerving.
In the words of stream Jolteon, "I like that my arc is being less nice to people," and, "I'm a merciful god."
That duet at the end...
I'm not crying! That's just my soul leaving my body
I haven’t cried this hard for Pokémon since Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Sky main story line and Bidoof arc.
Which was subsequently devoured by Jolteon.
It was a beautiful performance

You know you did well when, by sheer power of pokemon improv, you managed to make a ledian feel like one of, if not THE MOST important member on a pokemon team. We love Crap ❤
7:25 loving when Espeon doesn't even react when his son just fucking killed someone again
I would certainly call that a reaction. No necessarily a negative one. But certainly a reaction
Oh, he reacts... By confirming the kill...
The melee_frying_pan sound effects make it so much better
the aunt is a zombie acprimg to other videos, that kill is normal
tha altaria zombie? that needs context but bottom line, Espeon just really wants THAT ONE dead.
7:23 implies that Espeon felt Altaria's presence for a while, caught up, and somehow Umbreon was oblivious of them missing.
I like to think Umbreon was busy reading, and didn't notice till he tried to ask something.
"Hey Espy, what do you want fo-... Espeon?"
@@toxicdemon1315"I'm sorry, Umbreon. I'm feeling a disturbance..."
24:20 The little break in character was so cute, it somehow skyrocketed Ledian higher then he already was in my personal tier list
Never in my life have i been more excited to see two dogs flirt with each other on screen
I mean, this IS Dogs in Love! It's just that the dogs this time are Jorge and Poochie! ^.^
Positively goated pfp.,,.
The mere fact Wailord’s first words after evolving are “WAIL, WAIL, WAIL” killed me faster than Jolteon sent those kids on the playground to sleep.
What if Wound (oo) was a clone of Wound (ow) but just evil up front instead of being an "angel's" voice
11:39 I love this little skit. The faint voice of espeon, the little wholesome moment with “Jolteon” and his grampa and the evil laugh lmao
I love how the whole family have matching ties!

It means a lot so thank you, it wouldn't have been the same without it.
The little note about For Good at the beginning makes me think Jello would be broken by mystery dungeon
I have never loved a Ledian as much as I love Crap Gorps. And the true finale being the defeat of the evil Justy is the kind of ending that we just don't get enough from our stories.
Ledian is such a funky lil mon and im so, so glad it finally got justice in something

I love how jolteon is an eldritch horror, but in spite of that, he is a wholesome good boy trying his best to make everyone feel happy and loved
I think it's a good example of how your environment can really shape you as an individual. Jolteon was literally born from the fires of Hell, yet he's the sweetest good boi because his dads taught him that friends don't normally like their hearts being stopped because they didn't want to play tag.
I know it was just a little joke in there but I would 100% buy a shirt of "am I e-mail?" I love that line so much more than I should.

7:20 my absolute favorite part of the entire video. Espeon coming out of no where to confirm the kill. 😂😂😂
12:21 this is so funny and cute, i love when the bits get singsongy, "i cannot be killed" from wound is still one of my favourite lines in the DiL 2
19:10 kinda sad this interaction got cut short but I rlly love that jolteon's like " i don't get it but you make my friends uncomfortable, perish!"
I was curious about what Jello was going to do to continue the joke with the evolution of Wailmer but Yam really said "NEXT BIT PLEASE" and cut it off lol
I never imagined that I would think, "Aww that's so cuuuute!!!" after witnessing a gullible demon child converse with the dismal ghostly remains of his ancestor.
and i sit here staring at the end screen the mouse in my hand. the loss of a love in my eyes mixed with the abundance of tears, I cried, only a few things have genuinely made me cry from the loss of them and this is one of them. and I'm aware that this will not be seen but the genuine feeling I put in to this comment reflects the genuine love for this trilogy. i 100% agree :]
I love how Exit more and more has been reacting to the pokemon shenanigans, implying that over the course of the story he understands them more
Yet another effect of the power of [eldritch radiation] friendship
I would kill for a whole show where it’s just Jolteon and Crap Gorps. It could be like a kids show where they just like learn lessons and occasionally hit at being an eldritch horror

Thank you, UA-cam, for recommending me the video on the instant it releases, I have been waiting years for this...
The writing here is fantastic. and by writing, I mean random improv. Seriously this is so much fun to watch.
Now I see why Jello got genuinely emotional from that cover; _that was amazing_ haha
I love this group and all the hilarious and wholesome characters that emerge from their roleplay. Crap Gorps despite his f'ing name, is one of my favorite. His confidence builds so gradually across the trilogy. Him getting the time to shine after his growth really made me smile. Thanks for everything as always.
