Most accurate is Taiwanese 2001, for 90s kids its boys over flowers korea, then its meteor garden china cuz male lead is cute, and for us teens its thai version cuz its funny and relatable, but far from original

I like manga version better. Just like in anime, there was a kissing game in the dark. She was kinda hoping for Rui, but it was Domyoji instead. And he totally meant it, it was not an accident. Which makes it feel spicier. IMO tripping and falling into a kiss is: a) unrealistic, in actuality it would hurt; b). a total cliche for asian dramas, never considered it to be romantic anyway. P.S. On a second thought, Korean version of this scene is hilarious in its own right. Although "CPR kiss" is yet another cliche.
