The transitions, the fragmented music added, and the English subtitles were all crudely done and detracted from the story arc. The story itself was clichéd. The "ugly" people were never ugly - even with oversized glasses and fake freckles. The whole pretext was weak. If the translation to Romanian and other languages is as poorly done, you are better off without it.
