Durbin agreed with Hawley and challenged him to write a bill? Then when Hawley complies, Durbin asked "why"? What a 2 faced piece of trash. I agree that times have changed but child abuse (and make no mistake it is abuse) of taking a picture of your toddler in the tub trying to catch the running water was porn back in the 70s should not be today, but I'm pretty sure that is not the kind of picture Hawley is referring to.

Well well well Durbin who called out Hawley for not being proactive enough on this topic is now blocking a bill to help protect child exploitation.. what a hypocrite and a downright liar. He turns this into a political issue rather than a serious safety issue for children all over this country. If you are not going to do anything about this problem Durbin besides block protective bills for kids then don’t talk shit about how no one else doing anything about it.

Durbin is obviously being deceptive. He speaks as though he wants to crack down on on CP but at the same time goes against attempts to actually do so. Quite bizarre. If he doesn't want to rush the bill through that's fine, but he should at the very least be willing to compromise with Hawley to find common ground instead of making him out to be the enemy when they both supposedly have the same goal.

Imagine a time when the justice department chooses not to protect a Supreme Court justice from harassment at their own home because of their supposed political leaning. Imagine a time when a sitting senator can threaten certain sitting Supreme Court justices without any reprocusion.

It's so amazing that with so many law enforcement agencies that even one child is too many. A childs well being should be priority for all of us....a child will soon grow to be an adult then what? They'll be traumatized and it will be hard for one to live a normal life. All child predators should be the ones locked up for years instead of other offenses.
