Anybody doing this seriously should invest in a small spot welder. They start at $9 and i recently bought a $24 one which does everything. You need it for strength, better connections, resistance to heat, etc. There is no excuse to not buy one.
There are many cheap spot welder from china, they work very well. But you forgot about the power supply for the spot welder which should use high amps battery such drone battery with C rating of 30C and above or can use Car battery. And they doesn't cheap for poors. In our country they sell high drain lipo battery for around $45 (in our currency ofc) and cheap spot welder let say $9 already need to spend $54 in total including the battery for power supply. $54 is so expensive for some country like us. The value of $54 in our country is above 100.
@@Bobsmith-yf9oy I am sorry if you're not agree, but as long as you're are not soldering the batteries for "too long" it is okay to use solder.. Only for 1 or 2 second. That's why need to use a good solder and flux to do it quickly. Especially if you only an hobbyist that doesn't produce batteries for mass production, it is too expensive to buy spot welder when you rarely use them.

The power of the DIY cases will be, that the Li-Ion cells has not need to be soldered because there are to be installed as same as you install AA or AAA alkaline batterys in a TV IR remote f. e. So i become able to change the cells easy and quickly every day when i want. 😊 Best DIY Powerbank board since ten years. Never seen similar that is better or can more than this one.
My one friend used ltihuims to build himself a new 12 v battery . Cant remeber for what project. He also used bms as well. To someone that doesnt know and pay attention. It will look like the normal 12v type of batteries commonly used in house alarms and gate motors. Yet the battery is now lighter in weight and its more effecient than before.
You can buy boxes designed to hold multiple batteries and have brackets, connrcting strips, pcb mounts, etc. Nice plus inexpensive. They make your work look very professional. Invest in one.

Can. I charge my phone with one cell only ?? It charges for 10 seconds only then stops charging and the screen and give that my battery is 0% Despite that if I put a led USB light or used the internal light , it operates fine
@@TARIQLAB I measured it, it was 4.1 as volt If the mAh is small, at least it should last for 3 or 4 min ... At the same time I am charging a normal phone not big one device.
There we will be a maximum, based on current capacity of output wires plus the most cells the charger can handle. But with bigger batteries, thicker wires, and heavier charger, you can scale upwards elmost endlessly.

Plus heat harms your batteries. I repair battery packs and wouldn't consider solder as a fix. Not even temporarily.

Why aren't you using a little 12V spot welder for the battety connections? They start st $9 and there are multiple really good reasons to use them.
