I thought I was losing my mind remembering the "Go get em girl, teenage robot" vocals. They actually stood out more to me than the final version of the theme song. I always assumed this was some kind of placeholder they used.
Something I just realized watching these again: that tune seems to be heavily based on the Styx song "Mr. Roboto," especially the "thank you very much" part. While the actual theme song of the show was decent, I sometimes think this should have been it--it's cooler IMO.
