You should apologize to yourself for idolosing orhers without even truly knowing yourself. You assume who people were based on the narative of the media. we actually deserved Kurt. he was such a good person and a great artist that for what i know suffered a lot through his life, I mean most of us do but he took courage and transformed his pain into great forms of art that would later inspire many of us.
among the herd of selfish bastards, individuals like Kurt are a gem, I think.
Not everyone was as alienated as him. Otherwise every artist would sound as unique and creative as him
Yeah music came first for most of grunge which is why I think most of the big artists were undeniably so good. You can see it with oasis first two albums where it was music first were incredible, throw fame and ego into it and you get be here now.

Being an addict is a very common thing that doesn’t make a person bad, you don’t need to act like it was this horrible inexcusable character flaw. It literally just happens. Like, nobody /wants/ to become an addict, nobody goes out of their way to become one.

Don't you just get the feeling he was just a really nice guy, a guy you'd love as a mate. Yet the poor guy was painfully shy and probably turned to the drugs to give himself a shield, like so many do. He had his share of problems and was very misunderstood. A loose cannon but a harmless one I'm sure. One we'll never forget~

I guess there were many things that weren't written in his will (I don't if it's the exact word to use in English, hmm, the last note?), and perhaps that's the reason why sometimes we feel strange guilt about enjoying his contents. He suffered with his success and blind crowds, but at the same time, he loved his fans. Also he really cared for them that they won't be disappointed by Nirvana shows, he wanted them to enjoy the night.
He was never a simple stupid guy who just hates his fans and success which he longed for.
