Tusk 2Track vs. Motoz Tractionator Adventure and RallZ | The NOOB vs. The KING

- The Motoz Tractionator line of tires, specifically the Adventure and the RallZ are the KINGS when it comes to ADV tires. In this video I compare the vitals of the NEW Tusk 2Track tire to the ADV and the RALLZ. Some say imitation is the greatest form if flattery... what do you think? My testing will begin soon, but if you want to part with $200 before the review is live, click these links and get them on the way!

Wet-performance and Raingrooves will show how good these Tusks really are. That is where some offerings from MotOZ fall short as well.
I’ll get them mounted and tested… time will tell…!!!
Looking forward to the longevity report. That rear certainly looks promising. - Frank
Yeah, me too! After my initial test... I might need someone to put "the rest of the miles" on them...
I have a pan america. What tire would you recommend for 50/50. I want to ride on hwy to get to the dirt?
Thank you for your inquiry. I like the Motoz Dual Venture front tire and either the Motoz Adventure or GPS rear tires, depending on the type of off-road you will be tackling.
You mixed up the Rallz and the Adventure…
Really? I'll need to go watch it again!!!!
This could be the wicked cheap high mile option. I have never been sure of tusk tires. But I have never tried one either. That is some damn high durometer so I wonder how they will fair on the 1190 for pavement traction.
We will see…
Thanks for the comparison. So, in your experience testing all different types of tires with a gyrometer, have you found that the higher the reading, the longer the longevity? Is there correlation? Do you know if a densitometer would provide insight on longevity?
The durometer is an interesting thing. For the most part the harder rubbers do wear longer. But that has not been the case 100% of the time. It does have major correlation to stickiness on pavement and shock absorption.
@@manybikes good to know on the stickiness and shock. And to think this whole time I thought it was called a gyrometer. Tells you how much I know about tire tech 🤣
@@backcountry4life it really is interesting how some perform so much different than others even with several similar characteristics. Is the differences that really set them apart.
I'm definitely going with either of these tires. Unfortunately, over the holidays I had a brand new 890 Adventure R, 690 SMC R, and Husqvarna 501 stolen from my garage. The two KTM's had no miles because of the weather, and the 2022 husky only had 1500 mi on it. They were totally outfitted with Rigg Gear and many accessories you have recommended. Thank you for the time you put into these videos and wish me luck getting paid by the insurance company in full.
Oh man! I am so sorry to hear about your losses! That is horrible!!! Good luck with the INS company. They are quick to take your $$$ but slow to pay up...
Short selling Motoz 😂
Short selling? No way! In love Motoz. Just bringing riders “the news!”
No ones comparing the weight of these tires. For my tenere, these are around 25% heavier than the factory tires.
Yes Sir! My review does... the rear I received was 21 lbs and the front was 12 lbs. Heavier than the TrailMax Mission! I swapped from the Hitman 55 tires which are 6 lbs up front and 11 lbs in the rear... I FELT it on my 1190! The stiffness also sends road vibration and bumps up through the chassis of the bike. Hard, heavy tires.
Right on Kyle!!! Really looking forward to your review on these. They look sweet! I won't put a tire on my bike til i see you review it!!
Right on! Thank you for your support. I will get them mounted this week and will get them dirty and push them to the limits. Let's see how they stack up!!!
I’m curious to see how they do
I mounted the Tusk Dual Sport tires on my T7 and crashed twice within two weeks.
I think the compound is too hard
I had it step out on me nine times on the pavement and the front end washed out on me a couple times in the gravel and one time I crashed about 65 miles an hour in the gravel.
Needless to say, I immediately took them back off and put the RallZ on.
I’ve seen a lot of good reviews on the tusk Dual Sport tire but if you ride hard and push it to the limit, they don’t grip well enough
Thank you for your feedback. Sounds like my experience with the E07+ Dakar. The Dakar compound is HARD and a bit slippery when cold. I am curious to see how these do...
Hi! Did Rallz and Adventure accidentally go wrong in this video? :D. I have Adventures on my T7 here in Finland and they are awesome tires. Waiting more info about Tusk. U have a lot of good videos, keep it goin' !
Motoz is the KING. All else are trying to catch up ;)
Very interesting
I think so too!
I am trying to decide on tires for a trip to Baja on the T7 in March. As much as I’m hesitant to try an unproven tire, these are pretty tempting.
They look so similar to the KING Motoz… the two variants are the actual rubber make-up and lug shape / placement. We shall see!
I hope tusk brings out a 17" rear like this
Likely only a matter of time
The 17 /19 sizes are in the works but an ETA has not yet been given.
I want one of these for my next tire
Look forward to hearing more about these tires
I am curious to get on them too... time will tell!
are or will they be available in Europe (tusk 2track)?
Good question. Does Rocky Mountain ATV MC ship outside the USA?
Can't wait for your ride test. Nice work, love your channel.
Thanks! I recorded the Deep Dive of the “First Look” today. Pretty interesting tire. I’ll get them mounted tomorrow.
RMATV for the win!
We will see!
I put Tusk Dsports on my 690 last season. Very happy with them for traction and longevity.
That is great to hear, thank you for sharing. I have heard mixed feedback re: the other Tusk tires.
@@manybikes for the price it's hard to go wrong with the Dsports. I did a 2500 mile trip with them and ran every media known. I felt they excelled in all of them. I did also find them quiet on tar compared to Pirelli MT 21.
Fantastic to hear!
I want to get AX41 rear to match my AX41 front, but these are super tempting given the price. I’m just hesitant because of the hard compound. I push my T7 pretty hard in the twisties.
Just finished up my First Look Deep Dive of these tires. Man… it’s going to be interesting!!! It’ll launch in the AM and it might sway you one way or the other…
@@manybikes I think I will go with AX41 rear for now. If I can get 4k miles or better out of it, it will be a win in my book (assuming on-off-road performance is as great as most people say). If it's only 2-3k miles, then I will consider Tractionator Adventure or Tusk 2Track rears to try next.
@@AZMOTOMTB Good luck! I burn through AX41 rear tires!!!
@@manybikes Honestly, the feedback on AX41 longevity is anywhere from 2k - 8k miles depending on who you ask, but most people burn through them pretty fast it seems like. I need to see for myself lol.
Several sets of those motoz on the t7. Bought many from kyle too. Looking forward to the best moto tire tester in the world. Yep. That is Kyle
Thanks for your support. I appreciate you.
What are you running on your T7 these days? I put on the Motoz Tractionator Desert H/T this spring and the front is just way too squirrelly above 65mph for my liking. Looking for what others are running and their experiences.
@@craigborrenpohl1233 motoz dual venture on front of my t7
Hmmm.
Ha! Ha! Ha!
Interesting. Looking forward to a thorough review from Kyle. I love my Motoz dualventure and Rallz on my Tuareg.
Right on! Will mount them and get them onto the road and OFF Road soon! Stay tuned...
