Bro, solid content! Keep it up!
Yo! Thank you. Means a lot. 🙏🏾
Wow, the car looks🔥
Amazing how something so subtle, makes the world of difference.
Thanks bro!
And thanks for the help getting those rollers. 🙏🏾
Looks great! Great to hear that it rides good too
I just ordered mine today. 1.5" drop as well. Did you also get the adjustable rear camber arms? If not, you'll wear your tires unevenly. I ordered then for mine as well and will be installing it all myself.
No. I just had an alignment done. Actually only one wheel was slightly off they said. I’ll keep an eye on it though. I did order the new luxury suspension kit to get the shocks that go with the springs, so I’ll be adding those next.
Just saw you driving around 😂, good luck with the channel
I do be drivin around lol. Thank you. 🙏🏾
Curious to know is the ride pretty bouncy and do you bottom out pretty hard when you hit a dip ?
I actually ended up adding the luxury shocks too so the ride is buttery smooth now. Much better than stock. when I only had the springs, it was still fine. Definitely not bouncy. Ride was similar to stock when I only had the springs. Have never bottomed out. I’ve scrapped the mud flaps a few times, but that’s it.
Been following your channel for awhile and watch a lot of your videos when I was deciding between a Tesla and ID.4. Im in the PHX area as well (Gilbert), can you share you please share your suspension guys info? Want him to add these springs to my 2023 M3. Much appreciated!
Hey! Thanks for watching! His name is Dima Tretyak. He prefers that people reach out to him on Facebook. If you search his name on Facebook in the Phoenix area, he should be the first result. Profile pic is guy with a red shirt with a Ukrainian flag. Just tell him Blake sent you.
Have you seen any improvement in your average energy consumption? I would consider doing this with my standard range 2022. But 95% of the reason would be to increase range.
Maybe slight improvement. Negligible. Not worth the trouble if just for range.
Looks good!
Thank you!
I had H&R Sport spring which lowered my M3LR 1". Ride quality was good, but I got tired of it being so low. This is because Teslas are already low. The 1" drop affected useability more than other cars I've had in the past like a 2018 Audi A4 that I had. I have to say installing 1" lowering springs on a M3 performance doesn't do much because the performance already has sports springs that are slightly lower than the LR or standard.
Wholeheartedly disagree.
Great video
Thanks Reg!
Looks great!
Thanks bro! I appreciate you watching.
how was alignment and tire wear???
Not bad. Only one wheel was misaligned. And not by much.
Nice to know been debating on getting those springs.
@josevillaman183 love them. Was worried about going moderate, but hasn’t been an issue.
What’s the tire wear like? Technically, the camber should be more negative. No talks of alignment
Even so far. Camber is alignment…
@@BlakeCheck Well, no, 'camber is not alignment', there are multiple aspects part of an alignment including toe, camber, caster, so to your original statement, that's invalid.
Basic physics at play here, when you lower a car, you will naturally be pushing the upper control arms inward, causing negative camber.
You didn't load any alignment spec sheet from before or after and you're saying it's 'even' just from your 'personal experience.' You shouldn't recommend these type of modifications if you don't know how they work.
Some ppl get on social media and just wanna argue. That’s crazy.
@@BlakeCheck ? I asked if you had alignment specs and you said camber and alignment is the same thing. Brother, you don’t know anything about springs or how a car works. Lmao. Thanks for the video showing the drop but that’s as far as it goes
@ You asked about tread wear, not specifically for specs. I provided a general answer to your question and you agreed I was right, save for some nuance. Tire wear is even according to the tech who balanced afterwards and camber is a component of alignment. You’re not the only educated person to ever exist. Lol.
My video never once claimed to be instructional. But idk brother, if you need a win today to feel good, I don’t mind conceding that to you. Idc. Just a little bored with some free time atm.
This is dope man. Would it void any warranty on the Tesla? Thinking about doing this for my Model Y.
Nope. They just won’t warranty suspension components that are modified of course. There’s more details on UP’s sale page about warranty.
Best thing I’ve ever done to any car I’ve ever owned. Not long after this video I went back and upgraded to the full on luxury suspension kit (includes shock and springs). But I thought ride comfort was fine when I only had the springs, in this vid. Up to you!
@@BlakeCheck how is the luxury suspension? worth it? they are coilovers correct? i know nothing about car upgrades like that so i have no idea lol. i'll check out your video!
Yo I say you Tesla and I saw it said Blake check and I looked it up in UA-cam and I found your UA-cam I was behind you
Yooo! Thanks for checkin out the channel!
Thanks @BlakeChek for the information!!!
Needs wheel spacers 15 mm I’m front 20 in Back
I’ve heard doing that tanks efficiency.
@@BlakeCheck ?
@TheNattyking as in it makes the car less efficient. Less aerodynamic. Reduces range.
@@BlakeCheck the poke isn’t that serious for being that less efficient
Athena is a beautiful name for your little friend 🐕.
Thank you!
good stuff
Thanks for watchin. ✌🏾
Anyone try mild? I don’t want to suffer from scraping or damage battery from bumps
I have a buddy who did mild. He doesn’t regret it. Haven’t encountered any issues with moderate. Very happy with this decision to this day.
hey are you getting better range by lowering your tesla
Haven’t noticed any significant change tbh.
Im behind you get out the way
I’m just tryna eat, damn. 😅
Is your ride not super bumpy and noisy? The Eibach lowering springs have absoltuley destroyed my ride quality.
Not at all. Are there eibach springs dual rate, front and back?
@@BlakeCheck yes the 4 Eibach springs which they sell on their website for Tesla model 3
@@TeslaSoCalare they prokits?
Why you at chick fil a
You paid someone to do the work!?!
You have a garage. That's 70% of the fun of owning the car
Either need to be really dumb or really experienced to compress a spring without the proper tools. I’m neither.
Your driving is bad in Phoenix btw
Yeah it’s pretty bad out here. Lotta idiots. Lotta pissed off teens and old folks sharing the same roads. Add extreme high temps frying everyone’s brains and you’ve got a hell of a mixed drink.
IM ON DAT ASS
😂🤙🏾
Lowering almost any car is a mistake. There’s nothing more ridiculous than a slammed car jiggling along on its bump stops.
Oh boy here we go.
@@BlakeChecklmao fr
Still hasn’t spontaneously combusted. Waiting anxiously.
