Im in arizona, would love to meet up somewhere to see this in person. I have a model X Plaid and have done some mods to it, but i would love to hear this in person as i may add this to our Model Y Performance lol
We’ve got a meet up coming up! Saturday March 30th at 10am. Biltmore Superchargers. More details on my Twitter page, TheBlakeCheck. Or follow TeslaClubAz on Twitter (also managed by me).
I just found your channel and this video because I was interested in the sounds and I just wanted to say I love your presentation I love your personality and I love the detail and effort of information as well as information on the screen that you put in keep up the good work I'll spread the word and I'll subscribe thank you very much take care
Nice content man. Been watching Tesla videos for 6 years and never seen your channel lol. Just got my Tesla two months ago and making my own content so I had to sub and see what you’re up to. Hope you make more content !
Thanks for the sub. It’s a lot of fun. I’ve seen a lot of cool stuff and met a lot of cool people through this lil hobby of mine. Wish I had more time for it. I’ll sub back. Enjoy!
Yeah it’s just an external rechargeable battery. Similar to any other, just bigger than most. Haha. You just plug it into any USB C charger and it charges in a few hours. Lasts me a few months on a single charge but I don’t use it all the time. You probably could fit it in the rear truck but I wouldn’t recommend it bc the sound would flood your cabin. It’s loud.
Completely understand your concern. We did a lot of testing and also never had any customer complains regarding damage on the speakers themselves. Those things are bullet proof.
I have the app. I just wish it allowed me to hear what the options sound like with acceleration. They just seem to play mostly static idling sounds with a few variations. The Thor (competitor) sounds become higher pitched as the car accelerates.
Would be nice for the odb2 connector had an additional port to connect another devics since this will be an issue for someone who is already using the obd2 port for other tesla accessory such as a cluster display or a rear display from hansshow.
You can use an OBD splitter (super cheap on Amazon). We have a few customers who use the S3XY buttons by Enauto and the Glydsphere with an OBD splitter.
Can we play music and any other songs from it? & What happens when you receive a call? & what if you play music from your phone to your car speakers, will you still be able to use the app? While connected to car, Bluetooth and speaker Bluetooth.
You can play whatever you want through it via Bluetooth, BUT if you’re using the app to play the sound effects, you have to stay in the app. So if you pick up your phone and answer a call, it’ll default to a version of the sound effect that’s quieter and not dynamic until you switch back to the app. BUT if your phone is connected to your car by Bluetooth, you can do both.
No you can not use Bluetooth from your phone while using the Glydsphere. But all the music apps and the radio in your car work while you’re using it, those are better anyways.
Well I mean there are a lot of EVs that make artificial sounds at low speed. Lots of hybrids too. They come like that from factory. It’s a safety feature so pedestrians know you’re coming since there is no engine noise to alert them. Mine is just an after market option since this car doesn’t make noise. Plus it’s customizable.
Just shame you have to constantly use your phone with the app and adapters, in order to make this works. Plus, it will block any plugged phone charging capability as well. Otherwise, it's a great system, but i will pass until I can find something that doesn't require my phone.
That’s so cool! My kids would loose their minds over that!
Can’t wait to show em!
It exist also for my model s?
You should choose the adapt to speed option I think that would make the difference.
Just gets too quiet at low speed.

Great video. Happy Halloween 🎃
Thanks for always watching, Erick!
this is exactly what I wanted

I can’t tell you how much that means to me. Thank you for your kind words. Just made my day.
That’s pretty cool. Can’t wait to start upgrading my model 3 🎉
Lots of cool options to upgrade. This is my favorite upgrade so far. The fun never stops lol.

great video! It would be cool if they made an adapter and included a splitter and just tapped into the 12v plug in the frunk.
Thanks for watching! Yeah that’d be cool. More wires though.
Such a fun mod!
Sorry in advance for the noise.
Gotta get me some of this!!!
You should see some of the looks I get. Hahaha.
Just wondering do you still use it?
Yeah my son gets a kick out of it!
Nice video.May i ask you how to recharge the speaker's battery and if it's even possible to install it in the rear trunk?Tkx

@@BlakeCheck tkx!
Is the sound customizable? I want the Jetson’s car sound
Yessir. I think you can use the app for free trial to just try it out on cars internal speakers. But you gotta get the speaker for full effect.
Jetsons car sound is already included but you can also create your own personal sound sets.
@glydsphere1644 Can you put it in neutral and "rev" The engine?
yes you can even hit a rev limiter when the car is in park (neutral).
Can you provide the link for the speaker? Can’t find it anywhere. Thanks
Yeah for sure it’s glydsphere.com!
Does the speaker ship with an optional grill? I fear damaging the cone and paper diaphragm. Keeping dust/dirt out is a plus too.
It doesn’t. That’s a good point. I’ll mention it to them and see what they say.
Completely understand your concern. We did a lot of testing and also never had any customer complains regarding damage on the speakers themselves. Those things are bullet proof.
@@glydsphere1644 Understand, I can see my wife tossing clothes on hangers from the dry cleaners or my kids throwing toys on top of the speakers.
Can you send me a link of where you purchased your Frunk Mat to Velcro the speaker to?
My frunk came with that carpeted mat. Is that not included anymore? If not I’ll find you a link, lmk.
Very Cool!!!

Did you put it on gps mode!

@@BlakeCheck thank you sir
Are you still able to play music through bluetooth via the radio while using the Glydsphere?
Uhhh. Idk. I usually just use one of the built in music streaming apps or the car’s radio, those work of course, but let me go check.
No you can not use Bluetooth from your phone while using the Glydsphere. But all the music apps and the radio in your car work while you’re using it, those are better anyways.
@@BlakeCheck thank you so much for looking for me 😊very nice video btw !
No prob! Thanks for watching ✌🏾
Stupid fun idea, but I think it would annoy me fairly quick.
I’m not annoyed yet, but I’m sure my neighbors are. 😅
Ohhh so this is that weird sound I been hearing
Maybe haha.
@@BlakeCheck I'm not even kidding around, I am hearing like a sci-fi sound coming from a few cars radio.

Idk how I’ll ever recover from this violent tongue lashing.
💯 *PromoSM*
700$ nah I can get a sub an amp kit an make bassy sound not gimmick artificial fake noises lol
All noises from a speaker are artificial.
