i did a deep dive of the blush girls account bc i was just so skeptical of her actually doing that method everyday for "forever"..... one of her videos is from just over a year ago and it's of her getting ready/doing her own makeup for her wedding day. and wouldn't you know it? she did it without the excessive underpainting. i feel like if she was so keen on the fact that this method was so seamless and made the base perfect- surely she would've wanted to use it on the most important day of her life no? unless of course it wasn't her tried and true and just for the engagement 😕
Had she done the technique before the wedding tho? Devils advocate here..lol maybe she learned it afterwards? 🤔 doubtful ik 😂

Rage Baiting is SO annoying. Influencers are doing it because people don't realise or they do but still engage with it and it makes their engagement go through the roof so bingo influencers keep doing it. It's like a pandemic on social media 🙃🙄

I read a lot of "True Crime" magazines, and this woman's "under blush" method really looks like she's suffering from carbon monoxide poisoning! Like, I kid you not, this is the shade of pink that victims of carbon monoxide poisoning are when they're found deceased! I'm not trying to offend anyone, least of all her, but I'm saying it as I see it.

I saw a lot of rage bait on tiktok when influencers would incorrectly use the MAC plumping squirt balm and say it was so awful. A lot of smaller creators tested it correctly and liked it. I think people just like negative reviews and are more likely to engage with them, especially if a creator is using the product incorrectly
You can count in there all the skincare tiktokers putting semen, menstrual blood, dial hand soap on their skin, all that microneedling over strong acids a while ago etc.

For part 2, definitely mention when beauty influencers would rage bait those MAC squirt gloss sticks and would purposely do more than two clicks to make too much of the product go on their lips, those were annoying as hell 😭😭

I think people who engage with rage bait content are a huge portion it blame for making these people rich and famous. I always thought rage bait is so obvious so I only engage in positive videos in content, things I like and would actually wear/use.

the girl with the underpaint blush has said multiple times that it is not rage bait. she does it because she genuinely feels it’s good and works for her…we may not like it but she does. she’s tried purple, red, pinker shades, etc. it is something she considers art.
