He did an absolutely fantastic job on the twin Navion and definitely can’t wait to get my hands on this one once it’s available on Xbox. he is a single man developer that puts ton of pride into his work. The thing with textures is, it’s all a personal preference some want it looking shiny and brand new others want it looking rough and beat up and then the remainder want mixture of in between. At the end of the day for that price point 100% can’t go wrong as there’s others charging $40-$60 Canadian for similar detail and even less detail in some cases.
Wow what a beauty. I have the Twin Navion and it's clearly one of the best planes in my hanger. Such a joy to fly and everything works. The developer has a good reputation too. So yeah, this is another must buy plane for me.
Hangar Studios 713 (your title still shows "7173") has done a great job on the Navions. As a regular on the streams of a few youtubers I've found he's really responsive to thoughts and feedback, and a good guy all round. Love the work he's done here, and price points are great. Certainly shows his passion for making a great plane for the sim
There are many click spots on the plane that I'm surprised you never touched. The battery box closes over the battery, the luggage can be loaded in, and you can check the fuel during a walk around. I like this and its a remarkable job for a single guy with very little experience learning as he goes to develop this and the Twin Navion plane. Cheers to the 'little guy' who is self taught and at a great price point, too!
Inside the engine the oil dip stick works and you can check the hydrolics to all the outside stuff you can click on to withbtour mouse if you use the arrow keys to go out side
When I was a kid in the 1960s, I was fortunate enough to tour the manufacturing facility at that time in Seguin, Texas (my parent's home town) and the workmen let me install a line of rivets in one of these airplanes (Rangemaster). My other memory of that visit was that they had a P-63 King Cobra in the hangar there that the employees worked on in their spare time.
Agree with your comments. I just could not live with that instrument glass - feels like you are looking at a series of the bases of glass bottles.
They look exactly like the aviation guage coasters that I have around the house!

Ha! That's the sound! I was trying to figure out what it was around the house that sounded as awful as that and that's what it is! My shop vac out in the garage! Lol...to much! 😅
I really want to try this addon out finally, but there are just some polish issues that irk me. I mean, Hangar is misspelled in the tablet. It's that kind of attention to detail stuff that worries me. But I'm really liking how much this dev is improving.
Keep in mind Hangar Studios is a one man operation. He is very responsive to any suggestions you may have on his discord channel, and is not one of those developers that releases a product and then never does anything more with it. I would venture to guess he is already working on any of the issues pointed on in this video and an update will be coming. Hopefully he does not mind me saying that and blue skies everyone!
I do try to be constructive with criticism but also fair to consumers. Overall it is great, but everything can be improved. It’s better than I expected tbh
@AvAngel I was by no mean criticizing your critiques. I was just trying to let everyone know that he welcomes criticism and does everything he can to make his planes the best quality possible.
A nice plane. Looks a little too animated inside. Some rougher textures would be nice. Outside looks great though...

Those are sexy planes but... the name always bothered me: avion is like french for "airplane", but "navion" would be the french for "plane" but pronounced by a toddler :D so... yeah always makes me giggle when I hear this name, and even more now knowing it was aimed at ex military pilots xD
I've owned three. Two North American-built A models (The "NA" in Navion") and one Ryan B. It's not "Nah-vion". It's "Nay-vion."

Navions are sexy! I wonder why I see so many abandoned at various airports. Did the company stop supporting owners with parts, or were they too expensive to maintain?
Plenty of parts, but an older aircraft so in many cases owners pass on or cant afford to fly anymore... they haven't built them since the 50s.
@@AvAngel there's one at an airport near me that's been out sitting derelict on the ramp for more than 30 years. And the owner just refuses to sell it. Sad.

I have seen in two of your airplanes that a cat is sitting on the co-pilot seat. I would absolutely love to have this cat in my Fenix Airbus, could you please tell me what addon this is and if this functions in the Fenix Airbus too? :)
Awwww it even has animated ears. And imagine an update making also a few chihuahuas and bunnys available to have always a new fluffy copilot in every flight :)
