I don't know about the whole Grayguns reworking for $350, but if you're handy enough, you can install the short reset system kit on your own. That SRS kit is phenomenal. Literally all the P30 needs honestly. The rest I could do without.
The HK P30, possibly the greatest and most reliable pistol to date. And YES this pistol is more reliable than glock, that i already proved multiple times with multiple glocks.
@@moustachio334 yes they did. HK without a doubt is a better, more reliable, rugged, accurate, durable combat pistol. What glock has, is the after market support, perfect mid size, and brand loyalty by glock yards. Dont get me wrong, I like glock, but I always go with what is better and not preference.
There's an argument for the USP, I have both in 40, not a fan of LEM. I just bought the short rest kit for my USP, depending on how impressed, I will probably order one for the P30. You should have a trigger pull gauge to see the exact pull weights.
@@a.joegevara3519 heck yes there is. The USP is an absolute legend. The thing the p30 has over the USP is ergos, accessory rail, and the testing. Other than that the USP is a proven beast. Love the USP!!!!!
I just got a HK P30 SK with LEM trigger. I'll probably get it's siblings the P30 and P30L. I'll most likely get the Greyguns trigger as well. I recently had my Sig Sauer P228 get the the SRT trigger and X-ray sights installed at the Factory, it made a huge difference to a already great handgun. Good video. Thanks.
Very interesting video! Cool Trigger system. I just purchased an H&K P30. Not sure about the Grey Guns Trigger system just yet but I'm considering it! Thank you.
I love this video and demo of the trigger job. I want a P30 and P30sk pretty bad now. I’ll even pay the money for the trigger job. Overall cost would be on par with a standard USP so I think it is a good value.
@@Anthony-bl5rm , Some variants have THUMB safeties and some don't. They have a tutorial on the H&K website, explaining the different variants of H&K pistols. As for your second question, no H&K handguns utilize CLIPS; but you can find 30 round MAGAZINES for this gun on the HK Parts website.
I know their drop in trigger does not work with the safety, but you’ll have to call to find out about the trigger job they do themselves if you send it in.
I've CCed mine for about seven years now, every day, and I love it. IWB or OWB carry, both are comfortable for me. I don't find it heavy. I guess the question would be, "Heavy compared to what?" I've shot quite a few other .40s owned by friends, and I don't like any of them nearly as much. The Beretta is the closest in quality, but it has significantly more recoil with the same ammo as my P30, and it's almost exactly the same weight. Another point that is often overlooked is that H&K intentionally coats the exposed steel with a nitride layer for concealed carry, as it resists moisture and salt better than the typical coating or bluing on most semi-auto guns. In seven years of EVERYday carry, and thousands of rounds through it, my P30 looks basically brand new. This is a top-quality firearm!
I recommend installing the longer sear pin. There have been issues noted of people having all kinds of issues that end up coming back to not installing the new sear pin or incorrect installation of the new sear pin.

HK also proved it with their 90k round test of this gun :)

@@adriansoto239 didn't even have the P30 a week, nor did I shoot it, yet. Traded it to get my USPc 40 back from a friend. I'll shop for a P30L in 40.

You’re welcome! Definitely try and find one to try before you buy if you can. It might convince you!

Thank you! The gray guns trigger feels nicer to me than even the tactical USP trigger. You’ll definitely be happy with it
Just was looking at the 30 percent reset kit for my hk45c by greygun
Joseph Rossetti I remember liking the stock reset on the HK45c, but if you’re gonna shorten it, gray guns has got you covered for sure
Blue Gunner I really don’t mind it , never hurt to have a better reset
@@bluegunner4719 i thought this gun came with thump safety? Is that a different model?
@@bluegunner4719 and do they make 24 round clips for it?

Wonder how well P30 is suited for concealed carry.
Works very well for me
I have a p30sk and they are heavy

Just picked up a p30s and love the gun! Bought the grey guns reset kit amd waiting on it to come in. My question is do you need the whole kit?
I have seen videos of them not installing the spring an longer pin in the sear.

Any interest on doing the same thing on your USP?
Which Version was this originally?
The $350 cost is not worth it to me. Raises the overall price to a point I would look into other guns
Will you be doing a P2000 review? Thanks for the video!
Unfortunately I never purchased or shot one. It’s not something I’m currently thinking about. Sorry, but thanks for watching!
