Thank you for the feedback and thanks for watching! I have not published the files. I have been asked a few times. I like to recommend people come up with their own designs for the sake of innovation. I am still flip flopping on whether or not I want to share my files.
@@EngineersArmory There's someone sharing a design on Thingverse. Its not yours. I think your's was well thought out. Let me know if you ever change your mind, even if you want to monetize it in Etsy or something. In the meantime I'll get started on mine. Thanks for the inspriation!
The trigger wasn't too bad from the factory. But the trigger work made such a big difference I couldn't go back. The Gray Guns short reset kit is a bit spendy at $90, but the two springs were like $10 each. Even without the short reset kit, the two springs and some polishing would make a big difference.
Possibly? I kinda doubt it, as soon as the hammer and other internals are installed there is force on the spring tangs. It's best to pull the hammer cross shaft and all the internals on it. It's not that hard. LEM models are a little trickier with the separate hammer and cocking piece. Good luck on the install! Thanks for watching and commenting!
My P30LS in 40 hit my FFL yesterday! I have the GG short reset kit, hammer & sear springs + the flat trigger ordered! I did both my USPs along with polishing everything. I haven't order a flaired magwell, but did get the sale price on a comp! The most aggravating step for me was getting everything lined up to get the firing pin roll pin back in. Any chance you'd print/sell another magwell?!!
@@EngineersArmory My friend just bought his printer and is just getting started, he was kinda soliciting ideas. He needed a sturdy table to set up on and filament. I have a table made from 80/20 to hook him up with and I ordered 2 rolls of filament for him; PLA & PETG. I shared your videos with him, we're both excited! He's a computer nerd, and I, a gun nerd, so we help each other out respectively. Thanks again! 👍
So I got my PLA sample installed, so awesome! He has to learn the next step to setting up for the PETG, plus he's going to slow it down to get it a bit smoother, think he said the PLA was printed in 1.5 hrs. I really appreciate your content, and willingness to share!
I am not selling them, but I have released all my designs for free on GrabCAD so you can download it and 3D print it yourself. Here is a video I posted with all the information regarding my designs on GrabCAD (link to the design page in description): ua-cam.com/video/GscBKwkOn3Y/v-deo.html
Hello , I like your self build Low Profile Magwell. Can you build one like that for me too? I also have a P30 L. I pay well. Say the price.Best regards
Not selling them. There is a link to my GrabCAD page in the description with the STP file so you can print one yourself if you have access to a 3D printer. Thanks for your interest!
I am hesitant to do that. It would be pretty easy to have people Venmo me and then ship them out. But I want to remain as anonymous as possible and then people all the sudden have my Venmo, name, and address. I have thought about selling the parts that I design and make for guns but don't know that I want to go thru the trouble of doing so.
@@EngineersArmory Well good sir. You have two viable options. You could sell the print to people, or you could open an ETSY store and sell them through there. Just a thought. Fine work btw!
Had to get rid of my P30SK. Worst trigger I’ve ever experienced in a DA/SA format. My standard Beretta PX4 storm’s trigger is so much better it’s not even funny.
Yeah, the factory trigger was... not great on this gun. But its robust and useable for a duty/combat style weapon. I was able to shoot well with it with some practice. The trigger is worlds better now after ~$120 and some elbow grease. Thanks for watching and commenting!
That trigger was designed for German police. Those specs were required by them. Grayguns did great job though. I have SRS. Thinking about flat face trigger as well, but I am a little bit scared of this return trigger spring 😅
@@EngineersArmory I guess in my case I’ve always split time between formats and the P30 series is my preferred platform (even more so in LEM versions).
@@RobbDzzz makes sense! This is my first firearm with this type of mag release. I plan on getting an HK45 at some point so I'll get more practice. I do like the mag release. Just not used to it yet. Thanks for watching and commenting!
Finally, I now have 2 low profile magwells printed out. One of my friends has a 3D printer. Everything went great, magwell sits perfectly.
Awesome! Glad to hear it! I hope you enjoy the magwell and it holds up well for you.
10/10 on the target art.
Nice!! Great video and explanation. Any chance you would share your design files for the 3D printed magwell? Like the job you did on that also.

Nice! I have the p30L. Only thing I did was add mag extension +5 and comp. The trigger doesn't bother me but I'll probably upgrade when I get bored

Thanks. I don't put a price on excellence. This isn't a cheap hobby lol.
@@vdotkutz Haha no it is not cheap! As long as we're having fun right?
Great video! I just ordered the nickel sear spring. Any chance it can be installed without disassembling the hammer?

Don’t use your thumb for the mag release, use your middle finger from your shooting hand and it leaves the lower two fingers in place.
Hard to untrain the American mag release button thumb press! Haha but yeah moe training with that style of release is in order.
