😊 thank you and thank you for watching, appreciate it! I have another pumpkin tutorial I'm getting ready to work on. This one will be just covering a foam pumpkin.....no sewing)))
Your pumpkins are so absolutely cute and "happy." Even more important is the way in which you instruct. I have observed that you present in ways that are not on the competitive plane, but the sharing plane. You always give more than what is expected. I've said it before, but just want to reiterate that you are the best instructor I have ever seen on ANYTHING!!
Time to get started on them))) I saw a different tutorial the other day for covering velvet pumpkins that don't require any sewing....can't wait to try it))
I really enjoyed your tutorial ❤ It's August and somehow I missed this last year but I am so happy I found you now!! I am sooo ready for Fall!!!!! Thank you!! You are an absolute doll!!
Thank you for the good ideas for the stem using clay. I just finished a couple football themed pumpkins and didn’t really like the stems using felt. Thanks again . Brenda in Tuscaloosa,Al
Morning and thank you for watching Heidi. Some of the pumpkin stems were real and purchased from Etsy, some where handmade out of air dry clay purchased from Walmart. Here's a link to the written tutorial: www.trendytree.com/blogs/blog/how-to-make-velvet-pumpkins?_pos=1&_sid=e90cf3b22&_ss=r
Thats a great idea to put beans or something heavy in the bottom. I havent seen that yet in the videos ive bern watching. Also what is the purpose of using streatchy fabic vs regular fabric? Ive seen others do it too but i dont know why. Thank you❤
Thanks for watching)) The stretchy material is just easier to work with, but I did pick up some hot pink today that isn't stretchy so I'll see how that works. Carrie needed some hot pink pumpkins for Halloween))
Thank you for watching Susan. I stored the pumpkins that I made last year in a plastic bag in the attic. Storing in the attic is a no no for most things, but no harm was done and no evidence of any unwanted visitors. You could also use BB's, small rocks etc.
Love this, you're the first person who gave alternatives to having a dried stem and explained the materials. Thank you.
You are so welcome! Thank you for watching))
I have just fallen in love with you you are THE CUTEST southern bell . Brilliant tutorial Thankyou x

So glad you found us Kathy! Thanks for watching))
I wanted to know where you found such pretty good quality velvet? I keep looking and I dont like the lower quality looking velvets out there. TIA
The blue velvet came from Hobby Lobby or JoAnn's but it was hard to find! The leopard print Carrie had ordered off the internet somewhere.
@@trendytree ok thanks so much! do you prefer to work with the stretchy velvet or the kind that doesn't stretch?
I think the stretchy is easier to work with.
Awesome thank you
Our pleasure!
Where can I find beautiful stems like you have? TIA 🎃

So Pretty! One question, will the dried beans attract bugs or mice?

Pumpkin in those colors ugly 😏🙄
Thank you Victor, appreciate your watching even if you do think they are ugly))
Oh Victor...did you really need to say anything at all. We're crafter's. Colors are our world!
He’s a troll and not happy! Colors are what make up our world and artists love all colors. 🥰
Victor didn't your muma tell ya......if you ain't got anything nice to say....then don't say nothing at all.
