I love these also. They work better than sleeping pills. When I fall asleep in the middle, the next night I just listen for the last thing I remember and start from there . They are so soothing. Do others use these to fall asleep? Also I have heard some wonderful stories. I absolutely love and recommend them to anyone with sleeping issues. They are great to listen to any time, of corse . I also use my ear buds and listen while working around the hose. I have been a fan for a few years now. I also love ghost stories, my friends think I am weird, but ghost stories do not give me nightmares. There are so many wonderful narrators. I particularly love the ones with British accents: :)
@@juliehobbs7938 Britain has a vast range of accents, but for many years the BBC did not allow many of them as some are hard for people in other countries to understand, even if they are English-language speakers. They generally break it down to upper class 'toffs' or 'carrot crunching rustics', then there is of course 'cockneys' of old London town 😃
Oh please! English person speaking. I expect the robot or app can be programmed to speak with different accents. But it no more sounds English (or pommie) than Skippy can be represented as strine! It sounds like nothing more or less than the robot it is, and fools nobody, at least not here! Frankly I don't see the point of it. Good stories tho, aren't they. Thanks to uploader
I didn't really notice the accent in the introductions. But I have to admit that I winced when I heard the former Scotland Yard phone number pronounced as "Whitehall Twelve Twelve". 😆 I remember the days when it was frequently used in British radio appeals for information and I'm sure that every radio listener could recite the request to " Phone Whitehall One Two, One Two"! Fortunately, it was pronounced correctly shortly afterwards, in the broadcast itself. Not, I hasten to add, that this detracted in any way from my enjoyment of the dramas! I am immensely grateful to you, Aussie Radio, for uploading so many great plays for us. Thank you so much!

I Dont put ads in the shows !! You tube put the ads in. It all depends on what you are listening on. There are programs that you can use to download the shows.

Great listening. Beats television’s current game, cooking, reality, soap and quiz shows….plus the interminable REPEATS.
I love the pommie AI accent doing the intro- clevva. Thank you for the uploads. 🙏🏻

I liked the Whitehall 12 12. Every English person knows it’s 1212 😂
Wonderful collection of plays once again, so a big thank you. 👍😉🐈⬛
