Chase fans.. Please wake up. Oracle was so much louder. The fans were great. I mean it's got to be a drag for the team to see fans at other stadiums show more excitement.
Here is the difference between the cheese and wine crowd at the chase center and the beer and nuts crowd from the Eastbay. True story: At last night's game, a group of us(the ORIGINALS from the Oracle-Oakland in the house) were doing what fans are supposed to do, being the 6th man, standing up and cheering our team on when we made baskets and some bandwagon SF fans behind us, actually asked us to sit down. What REAL fan sits down the whole time during a close game? If THIS is how you go to a Warriors playoff game, just stay at home with your wine and charcuterie board and watch the game on tv.
Did you oblige? They can't make you sit right, like security? When I went to the 2015 NBA Finals Game 5 we all sat and rose like it was church. We screamed in Unison non-stop and lost our voices. In 2014 I went to Game 6, the ishikawa walk off, and I never sat down in the bleachers in left field (ok, in between innings). I watched the crowd yesterday and even paused it to look for the real ones. Your story is aggravating! I think i would just get drunk and not care what people ask and continue to stand and cheer the way you're supposed to! Is that what you did? I would accommodate for the handicapped and elderly, but for any able bodies, stand your ass up and cheer for the team that literally says it feeds their energy!!
What you're saying lines up perfectly with what I've been sensing.. this is coming from across the world Warriors fan for more than a decade now. I can't believe that while I was watching the game, at some points I had a part of my focus dedicated to feeling embarrassed by the crowd in this close out game leading into the conference finals nonetheless!! I miss the Oracle... had WAY MORE life than this. There's those little things too.. like that fast paced drum that smacks loud on defense after a basket made on a run... the whole crowd into it... how much more pressure it adds to the guest team. Truly one of a kind experience and I can say that despite only experiencing this from a screen (albeit a big ass one + sound system). It was one of my to do list of life... to attend the Oracle and witness the ROARACLE.
On a positive note though, hopefully this run gives birth to a new life. Hopefully in the near future, the owners pick up on at least brining back such little details like that drum on defense. Hopefully we can see (or watch the Dubs create) more authentic and deeper crowd. It's natural afterall considering there's many new fans who haven't experienced a cycle of an up and down.
Warriors sent the Grizzlies back to the Wilderness where they belong with dirty plays. Grizzlies NOT ready for the city. Back to the wild Brooks and company! hey, bring along your mentor/coach!
The guy that said "Wow, most intense game I've ever been too, Wow". Had me dying.
😂😂😂
Hire Iggy as assistant coach.
Warriors didn't maul the teddy bear Grizzlies! But they sure put them in hibernation for the summer! Whoop that trick!😭🤣🤣
I'm from phillipines and I am a warriors fans
No one cares. Just say you are a fan.
The way the warriors fans support cheers for the team is priceless 🥰💕
