The best card you can get with Buried in Ice is Solitary Will. It fills your opponent's hand with landmarks that just countdown and don't do anything, and you can cast both same turn because of cost reductions
@@nipitphonchandawanich314 Yeah, but if it’s not beneficial to recall allied units its nice to have Buried to break the symmetry. Anyways, what are the odds of spinning both right? That would be like spinning and drawing both Warmother’s Call AND Feel the Rush
@@kiraangle2823 I think you might have meant He who stares because that’s the one which obliterates landmarks. That said, the question was which other spell is it best to get off of Marai Greatmother alongside Buried in Ice, and that’s a unit.
@@travisprescott9708 Yeah, never liked Targons Peak ... Simply because I know, when I play it, I don't get my high cost cards reduced to 0, but the enemy does ... xD

I looked that he clarified a second later Competitive DOES mean different things to different people. Mogesu likes to claim that his -50% wr decks can compete with tier one decks.....and he's 100% correct. Just two people using the same word with different definitions. Remember, Mogwai and Swim are catering to different audiences. Swim does a great job of showcasing what's meta. Mogwai does a great job of showcasing creative builds that aren't meta, but can compete with the meta if that's what you find fun.
39:10 Can someone please explain, why Caitlyn survived? She should have 2 health this round only. I am confused. And this isn't the first time I've seen this.
If a damaged unit gets health for one round only, like caitlyn did here, the unit gets bassicly healed that amount. Only if the bonus health exceeds the max health of a unit it goes away thr next round. Note: that this "heal" doesn't cound as actuall heal for things like Soraka or starspring. Hope this was helpful.
so, swim mentioned that using the "targeted draw" first is a mistake because you can save it since it wont miss, and is better to use the "random draw" first instead funny thing is that i always do it in the opposite way because in yugioh, the random draw giving you what the targeted draw could give makes you lose value, so you want to use the targeted one first i guess swim's way is better? i dont know, i feel like the other way makes more intuitive sense tho
i still dont understand why you didnt attack with zap at 38:18 like its still damage no? even if it didn't matter its still 2 damage to nexus? and its free? i dont get it, how could 2 damage not matter tho
he has guaranteed lethal on turn 11 with or without the 2 damage from zap that turn. whats more valuable than that 2 damage is keeping his attack token because, as he explained in the video, the caitlin is scary and he wants it dead. the ability to kill the caitlin if the opponent tries to save it from the time bomb is much more important than the 2 overkill damage. hope this helps
Actually it's counter productive, as it accelerates the loss of cards in your deck, thus buffing any future trap shuffles. Also it doesn't matter whether any units with traps on them get summoned or drawn, because for all we know, there's an equal amount of traps on units and spells. Only time it would technically be a good play was if the opponent played entrapment on units before.
@@randomshit6539 but ur getting rid of traps to be multiplied by teemo and getting rid of current damage in deck. you are making your deck thinner, but it's almost always worth it by the time you're playing the card.
@@kmb1800 Ok the Teemo double is a fair point, but you're not taking damage out of the deck. That would only matter if you were to draw your entire deck, but if there are 2 shrooms on every card on average, it doesn't matter if there are 30 cards or 15 cards in your deck, you always die after the first 10.
Mogwai would probably call this deck competitive XD. I watched mogwai from way back base set and he probably would, I mean he is saying that his SI sion deck is better than the draven pnz XD.

Solitary on it’s own is good when discounted, imagine recalling a full board of units into a full hand

when you use any spell to buff your unit's health, any HP up to normal HP works as a heal...only excess HP does not stay after round end
