- ONE-POCKET - In 2003, Arizona’s SCOTT FROST and Ohio’s DEE ADKINS were in the Semi-Finals of the 293 player one-pocket division at the Derby City Classic. Frost, 27, better known as a “high-stakes” gambler, was making his mark on the professional circuit. Adkins, 30, had already make his presence known by taking down the All-Around-Championship title at the 2000 Derby City Classic. Don’t miss this one.
Billy Incardona and Danny DiLiberto knew both players well and shared their knowledge.

Adkins is now a top notch one pocket player.
I was at this tournament in 2003. I rode the bus to hangout there all night
Classic Billy “Therefore” Incardona right here!!!
This is going to be very enjoyable say what you want about Scott without the way that he revolutionized one pocket it wouldn't be the number one game in America right now especially going by tournament entrys at Derby city lol and I don't remember being that skinny at that age lol but that's been a very long time ago lol
I want to visit his pool bar.
I only have good things to say about Scott, he’s been my friend for many years😀
@@EricPetersen2922 yeah I like him as well but you know how haters can be
SCOTT FROST isn't the person that revolutionized one pocket.Shannon Dalton did when he shot shots you weren't supposed to shot at age 17 to win the legends of One pocket Championships back to back.
Man we used to drive down to rack n cue on apache in tempe, az and kolbys to watch scott play all the time in 2002 through 2004. Time flies. He played so diff back then. His game evolved so much a few years after this and is so enjoyable to watch.
They all underestimated Dee Adkins......he is a beast.
Thanks so much for the upload. Do you have the Pagulayan-Reyes one pocket matches from derby '06 and '08?
Looks super cool. Scott is so young here
I am only at the 32-minute mark. He won? I thought he was dumping.
Good grief I'm old....
0:24 hard to deny an intro like this
Scott's elbow moved up and down a lot but he still shot well that way. He was certainly lean back then. Adkins choice of shots a few times was questionable but he still managed to prevail and win.
I didn't like that, I dont like that, Geez, Billy and Danny ever shoot a bad shot?
They’re talking more about strategy, not execution. To your question; yeah, they’ve both shot many bad shots, but not from the booth.
They might miss but they don't play the wrong shot much. They have forgotten more than we will ever know.
Sardo haha
