This was great ...... watching theese best of the best fight there strokes and lifting up and dealing with i would say some gear effect also . ......... shows there human side and also to never give up .
Awesome videos pat. But I would love to see any accu stats videos of strawberry brookes for old time sake. I’ve always considered him one of the best one hole players
It took efren being tired, off his game, over the age of 60 and chronic shoulder pains, to make a simple mistake. Takes me 75 cents and half a game lmao
At 1:30:43 Efren realizes Scott has nothing for him and Efren remains next to the table, kinda hawking over Scott, but also knowing Scott has only one shot and it’s not going to do much for him. Scott sees the shot he’s going to take, but then pretends like he’s eyeing other options and waits for Efren to sit down; only to then end up taking the shot Efren knew he was going to take. Overall just a silently awkward interaction. Scott did a lot of silently prideful things. Laughed and smiled at some of Efrens misses too. Weird guy. Not a bad dude. But just kinda insecure.
I've been a decent but failed chess player as well as a crummy, failed 1-p player, and I know the most basic similarity between the two games: you have to study the endless but standard moves before you can get good at the game. Chess players review old games played by masters, while pool players spend hour after hour in the pool hall to learn the shots, moves, and strategies. A straight stroke and good eye is necessary, but knowledge of the game is what wins matches. The only way to get that knowledge is to go to pool school, meaning paying game after game after game against tough opponents. In the old days, which to me is from 1965-80, if you got lucky some old road player might take a young hotshot under his wing and share his valuable knowledge learned from hard experience. The advent of the Internet killed the anonymity of road players, but it began the free exchange of pool knowledge. Today we see the some of the best pool in history, thanks to mentoring and sharing of pool knowledge, sometimes for free, sometimes as paid lessons. A big shout-out to Dr. Dave and other pioneers of free sharing of pool knowledge over the net. Most of them eventually turned to paid schooling, and why not- the tools and time to make video instruction are a regular job, a skilled trade, maybe even a professorship.
at 1.07 efren shoulda banked the 14 long rail and doubled up scotts hole . efren had no power to his hole and billy is cracking me up he keeps saying well this shot is dangerous HELLO ITS ONE POCKET AND ALWAYS DANGEROUS LOL
For all of you who never saw Irving Crane play traight Pool, just watch Frost play, and multiply by three. (From lookng the shot over 3-4 times, too look into it over twice, but taking three times as much time...all this BS is done to shark thrie opponents.
Kenny Shuman, mouth noises galore: saliva squishing, clicking, etc. "He's going to play the 5-ball with some inside." . "I would lag the 10-ball here."
Yes it’s terrible. It made it so hard to watch. Please use a commentator that doesn’t sound like he’s taking a dump. I pictured Ron Jeremy sitting on the toilet eating a banana. 😂
You probably dont give a shit but if you are bored like me atm then you can stream all the latest series on InstaFlixxer. Have been binge watching with my girlfriend recently :)
I love watching these matches, but I could do without the commentators arguing over what shot should be played. Let a guy make his assessment and make yours then move on. If I wanted to hear arguing I would call my ex wife.
It's Scott Frost, the guy is full of himself, and he is arrogant. He thinks he invented 1 pocket, and if you do not play it the way he would you are not doing it right.
Once again Mr. Billy Incardon’t know a thing trying to learn from Efren….. if it wasn’t blatantly obvious he was way off….. One of the worst commentators as far as I’m concerned
We don't need analysis, or predictions on EVERY. SINGLE. SHOT. or even inning. If one of the commentators is saying something interesting, no need to interrupt him to give us what you think could or should be done. Try taking a page out of Eli and Peyton Manning's Monday night commentary. Less is more.
1:55:12 "experience is something you get, right after you needed it" that is such a nice and true comment
No dear experience is what you get when you didn't get what you were after. More True.
yes experience is true to hve ability to know how to aplay in sitution that have hapen
Thanks Pat. Real treat for one pocket lovers

That's what good mac and cheese sounds like.
People keep saying Efren lost a step but he keeps winning tournaments.
Awesome videos pat. But I would love to see any accu stats videos of strawberry brookes for old time sake. I’ve always considered him one of the best one hole players
Noted!
Solid match from beginning to end.
Pat I remember watching Efren do commentary with Jerry McWorter at the Sands. You think he will ever do a player review?
In time, yes, but it wasn't a player review.
Greatest ever. No argument.
1:25:15 the look on frost face like "how the hell does he come up with these shots??"
Congratulations to both players! Good game! Amazing!
2:12:50 this guy wearing a mask in 2015?
Pinoys tend to were face masks during flu season.
@@xatifx Most Asians actually.

Phew…. I’m glad hey gave Danny a break !!!
Ahhhhh Julie the time keeper.......
nice pocket game
I find it funny how they kinda bicker back and forth they have at 11:35 and onwards
Gotta love the announcers calling Efren out in the first rack. What do we need commentators for?

Wow😮
To me one pocket is the pool equivalent to chess

Danny was doing a terrible job and Bill came to the rescue.

One pocket is pool’s answer to poker’s razz
Can someone get Ken a glass of water, pleeeease.
Amy Schumer sitting to the left of the table.
Kenny Shuman, mouth noises galore: saliva squishing, clicking, etc. "He's going to play the 5-ball with some inside." . "I would lag the 10-ball here."
Could you be more descriptive? 😀
@@AccuStats -- LOL! :D
Yeah he really needs a glass of water
😂😂😂😂😂

I love pool. Especially one pocket. I use it to fall asleep
You probably dont give a shit but if you are bored like me atm then you can stream all the latest series on InstaFlixxer. Have been binge watching with my girlfriend recently :)
@Ledger David Definitely, have been watching on InstaFlixxer for months myself :D
Pool could put a meth head to sleep lol
Same😂
When I’m ignorant of something I keep quiet.
I'm amazed efren can still see. What is he like 75yo here?
60
He underwent lasik surgery
This was in 2015! He was 60 at the time.
Unbelievable. Thanks guys
It's not Scott vs. Reyes...It's a Reyes love fest by the commentators...
can't blame 'em. guy is 1P God.
😮

I can’t stand this guy plying Reyes

I agree terrible. Sounds like Ron Jeremy taking a dump while eating a banana 🍌 during his commentary.
Love these games but these commentators are getting on my nerves!!!!! 🤬
Yikes these announcers are just arguing, clueless and wrong.

I disagree. I have learned so much about strategy from listening to these guys share their point of view on every shot.
