Spend The Day At Disney's Vero Beach Resort With Us! | Awesome Sunrise, Beach Fun, Pool Slide & Food

- In today's vlog we spend the day hanging out at the resort! This is say 2 of our Vero Beach trip! We start the day with a beautiful sunrise, we watched from our back balcony and we even saw some sea turtle tracks! Then we have a delicious breakfast at the Wind & Waves Grill. We head out to the beach after breakfast and even get a little pool time in. We take a few rides on the pool slide, which was so much fun! We have lunch by the pool, and then head back to the cottage for Jackson's nap. We end the night with dinner from the Wind & Waves Grill. We took it to go and ate out on that patio over looking the ocean. It was such a wonderful way to end our day. We hope you had fun hanging out with us today! I was laughing at Tim saying he wasn't sure he could remember how to ride a bike but it was probably like riding a bike. That made me laugh!

Their are military bases all up the coast of Florida and they usually will fly low for practice with low flying because it is safe to do over the ocean. They will also do it with planes
Those were CH-53e Super Stallions! There are not that many of them in the country and they can fly about 300mph, also they can haul two times their own weight!

Hearing the waves crash is so relaxing and Jackson was having so much fun at the beach.
Definitely wouldn't need a sound machine or an ambient noise app to sleep 😂

Hey Tim and Jen! I'm a little late to this video here, but I used to work with sea turtle nests down in south FL. What you witnessed was a "false crawl" where the sea turtle mama decided she didn't want to nest there and turned around. This is VERY common with mamas, as they can be particular about where they lay. If they do false crawl, they usually will try again either that same night or in the next few nights! They also typically lay multiple nests in a season. Researchers usually cross off the tracks they have already counted that morning to make sure we don't miss any, so that is probably why they ran over the tracks. Also, not every nest will be marked, since there can be a very high volume of nests during the nesting season (the beaches I worked on had tens of thousands of nests in a season). 😊👍
Hi Tim! Vero Beach was the spring training location of the Los Angeles Dodgers for many years. So that is probably why there are pictures of Tommy Lasorda there. ⚾️😊🧢

I came down here to comment the same thing, and my grandfather used to run the scoreboard for the games! We saw many spring training games there.
It was the Dodgers' spring training home from 1948-2008 known as Dodger Town now it is Historic Dodgertown.
It’s unfortunate that they left Vero Beach for Arizona.

We call that a false crawl. Sometimes the sea turtles get scared by something and won’t lay eggs. They cover the tracks so the sea turtle trackers don’t count tracks twice. I use to be a volunteer in Anna Maria with the sea turtle nesting season.
This family is entirely too precious and wholesome for words 🥺 I just love them. Seeing them on the beach with Jackson melted my heart.

If you want to make a Mickey tie dye do what you did with the chalk, then sew around the head with floss then pull until it all comes together, then use a rubber and to tie it.

Love watching Jackson love the waves - he's definitely Tim's son! :) Loved seeing the military choppers - I live near a Joint Bas here in New Jersey, and frequently hear, and see the, overhead - I always wave if I'm outside - whether they see me, or not! Loved seeing you go down the slide, Jenn, and loved seeing Jackson's joy at seeing you, and then Tim doing the same, and getting the same reaction! You did a great job on the shirts, Tim! Jenn - Haricot verts is the French word for string beans, and is usually the thinner ones. So nice of your friends to bring you that awesome-looking cake! I also never go anywhere empty-handed, so they were raised well too. :)

We live near a beach in the uk and the RAF often come over the beach training on their way to the bomber range at Donna nook ! Fabulous vlog , we’ve never been to vero beach but it looks awesome. Jackson is just too cute for words x x stay safe x x

I will forever remember this vlog as "the one when Tim almost flew off the water slide" lol. Glad it was fun. The turtle conservation work down in Vero Beach is fantastic. Can't wait for jackson's first hair cut ever at Disney. Also Tim, the Dodgers used to play their spring training games in Vero Beach, thats why Tommy L was there.

Hi Tim, Jen & Jackson1 Vero Beach is my home resort and has been since 2021. I was just there for 8 days, about a week ago ... so nice to see it again so soon! As a regular VBer from Denver we think of this resort as our second home. And those of us who travel there regularly will tell you that it's a great & fun community too! Within a few minutes there are beach bars and beach breakfast diners, a floating sports bar with the worlds best (and biggest) Fish & Chips, or fresh tuna nachos. There is a very cool cultural center (oldest in Florida) that has free weekend concerts, and there are farmers' markets ... and thrift shops too. My "recipe" for a great Florida vacation is 2 days in the parks and 5 days at Vero Beach.

One of my all-time favorite Tracker videos! So much to love: sea turtles, surf, sunrises, Jenn on the slide (I'm nearly 50 and love riding water slides like that), the outro... wanted to put a note in regarding riding a bike with a kid on the back: It's the balance you have to watch out for when you go to start/stop. Their weight can cause the bike to quickly go off-balance and tip over when you first get on and step off. Had to ride a bike with my niece when she was about that size and the bike nearly fell onto the side! I caught it but it gave me a scare. Just glad my niece didn't ask me to do it again!
Great place to visit. My wife and I took our kids there back in 2015 for 3 days and then headed over to WDW.
Highlights for us were the pool slide, campfire smores, and TooJay’s Deli.
Only cons i can think of were they closed all outside activities when there was thunder/lightning within a certain radius and the kids indoor activities during the closing werent that great.
All in all, I hope to visit again someday. Great family memories there
