My kids have always eat what the rest of the family eats. We usually eat early so the whole family eats together and the kids see what we eats. We just make theirs more plain and add the spices or favouring to our meals. I have make waffles, pancakes (can find brands that have extra proteins for the kids), zucchini fritters, veggie quiche, etc and freeze them for our meals. The kids loved them. I still do that now. Easy after school snacks or for lunch box. Slow cooker is great as well for big batch cooking and portion out for meals for another day. Batch cooking really can help with grocery bills as well.
my sister and I were just talking about this yesterday. I don't know how you are doing it,filming and editing all day to get us quality videos every single day. thank you for all you are doing. your hard work shows and I know it must be getting difficult to be away from the family. I just want you to know we appreciate you and all the work you are putting into these videos
The t-shirts came out so awesome! You will love the Factor meals. My friends love the filet, chicken burrito bowls, salmon. So delish! Have a great week!
I love batch cooking & do the same thing with chicken! I make a huge batch and then use it in salads, fajitas, with broccoli and rice, etc. As a microbiologist, though, I take the extra step of storing it in separate portions for each meal. That way I’m not opening the same container multiple times per week and exposing the remaining food to airborne contamination (typically mold) or whatever is being used to spoon it out, which can then grow on the food. Not a huge deal if you eat it quickly enough, mold is everywhere, and small amounts don’t typically make us sick, but I just prefer to take the extra step of sealing the food separately and the only opening the container once.
@@amandap8936 I just throw it in the crockpot with about 4 cups (big carton) of broth and sometimes a packet of ranch seasoning, and cook it on low for 8 -10 hours then shred in the crock before separating out into individual containers. I love how easy it is!
I think it's great to get kids used to milk substitutes. Pasteurized milk is safe. Raw cows milk (what you might find at a farmers' market) is where you have a risk of bird flu in the milk.
Avocado tip! As soon as they ripen on the counter, put them in the refrigerator. They keep for days that way. We buy the big bags from Sam’s/Costco for our avocado obsessed toddler and they hardly ever go bad after we started doing it!
I love that you are a conscientious consumer. As someone who works in the dairy industry and grew up on a dairy farm - I do want to say that all of the recent research on the Bird Flu in dairy cattle 100% show that PASTURIZING works. All of the milk sampled going back nearly 4 moths has shown that their is dead virus in the milk but there is no live virus. That is exactly how pasturization is supposed to work. Please do not feel worried about feeding your children pasteurized dairy products. The same thing is the case with all of our food systems. An abundance of caution is great until we get more information, but science works and we continue to see that there has not been any risk to the general public through the consumption of pastuerized dairy products. As alwasy - enjoy the content!
Wicked the Musical is currently in it's 20th year on Broadway, I do believe it's still touring and does make frequent stops to the Orlando area. Some effects are notably different between the currently running Broadway production and the National Tour.
You have healthy, happy children, so “Way to go, Mom and Dad” is the only comment needed. 💛 I’ve seen Wicked twice on Broadway and it was amazing. You will never watch The Wizard of Oz the same way again.😊
I highly recommend seeing Wicked on broadway! It is sooo phenomenal, I’d love to see it again! I grew up going to broadway shows and have seen many and that is by far the best one! Also little fact, Idina Menzel played the wicked witch on broadway and she was still in it when I seen the show. That’s where she got her start.
My daughter took me to London for the weekend as my birthday present and we saw wicked at the theatre, it was amazing and a brilliant twist on the wizard of Oz ❤
I did Factor for a couple of months, but found after awhile the meals also became repetitive especially the vegetables….once you do a few months the meals just recycle. Some meals are offered every week or two. I also found breaking down all the packing/ ice packs gets old lol and the cost vs local grocery shopping can be more expensive. The food was pretty good though for premade meals.
Those are super super cute cute shirts for everybody Tim’s is my favorite but awesome family matching time. Absolutely love ❤️ love 💕 love 💗 it. Love you guys
You guys will love Factor. We tried them for a month and really liked the. There are five of us so financially it just didn't work for us but I really did like the meals we tried. It was so easy to have dinner in just two minutes per meal. I felt great after I ate the meals too, not overly full and heavy. I wish we could keep up with them because they are definitely a good thing.
I did Factor for about a year and it was a massive convenience boost, and the meals were pretty decent. I wouldn't call them "gourmet" though- the quality was pretty good, but the selection was relatively basic. A lot of chicken breasts (not my favorite), simple greens or beans, and a starch or starch substitute. If that's what you like, it's a slam dunk- one of my friends LOVES Factor, but it got a little repetitive for me. I switched to CookUnity last year and haven't looked back. Slightly more expensive, but if you want real GOURMET in a box, CookUnity is the one. Massive variety of different cuisines- Chinese, Japanese, Thai, Vietnamese, Mexican, Italian, South American- and speaking as both a Chinese-American and a foodie, a lot of it is astonishingly authentic and well-prepared. The catch is, CookUnity clearly puts their focus on flavor and quality, while Factor focuses more on nutrition, so Factor is still healthier by far. Some of the CookUnity meals are super high in calories and not very nutritionally balanced, but boy do they taste good!
We used to get factor meals like 4 years ago and we really liked them. The only downside was that I really loved the Green Goddess bowl but they stopped offering it and it never came back. The meals started to get repetitive which I find is a problem with all subscription services. Right now we get Home Chef.
I love Factor. So convenient, delicious (90% are- they’re not all home runs) and I lost 100 lb in a year by eating them for lunch & dinner 6 days a week!
Oh my the tie dye shirts look so good😍 I hope to make shirts with my sister on our vacation in 2026😊 This was nice to see what foods are ate and how family life at home is😊 very nice home vlog😊 Thank you for sharing. Be Safe Take Care 😊❤
In our area we can purchase completed meals. They’re handy for busy nights. You are a very busy family I can’t imagine 😊 I follow a woman and she helps with meal prep, a week or month of prepped meals. I enjoy her.
I just recently saw Wicked for the third time. I love it every time I go! The movie will be fine I'm sure, but there's nothing quite like seeing a Broadway production live on stage. PLEASE buy tickets for a date night with Tim the next time it comes to your area.
I really enjoyed Factor! I did their meals when I had to do an away rotation for a month and they were delicious! And they have so many options for weight loss, vegetarian, gluten free... I don't know how you two film, edit, and have two kids!I am exhausted just watching!
I love that style of pancakes puffs, Kodiak brand makes some that have some added protein incase you wanted to check those out. So excited for Tiana’s, we got a CM spot & an AP spot. Can’t wait to see it at night 💚
I love that you get Jackson the pancakes for breakfast. My brother went through a stage of only eating McDonalds fries. Breakfast, lunch and dinner. The doctor said to just roll with it. It went on for about a month before he got sick of them.
We did factor and cook unity for a few months after our second baby. Definitely convenient but I did get super sick of the meals haha definitely prefer hello fresh or fresh meals to make.
So my sister lives in Florida and works at DAK. She has several dogs that she shows and competes with. Well, one of her dogs is named Wicked. And she took Wicked to the cast of Wicked on Broadway and got their picture taken with the dog. : ) If you ever get a chance to see it on Broadway, go see it. Every time it comes to Kansas City, we always go! Have seen it several times. Can't wait for the movie!!!
I do Factor sometimes. It’s good and convenient but at times I feel like all the dishes start tasting similar, like they use the same seasoning on most stuff. At least the weeks are easy to skip if you need to.
My pediatrician told me my child isn't a cow, so she doesn't "need" cows milk! They can get the calcium elsewhere. I have a very healthy 4 year old who never liked cows milk. 😊 The t-shirts look great 😃
My brother is very knowledgeable about nutrition and has said something similar. He told me- can you think of any other creature on the planet that continues to drink milk in adulthood, and not only its own milk, but the milk from another animal? The human body is not intended to consume milk perpetually, and babies and children are certainly not required to drink cow's milk as a vital part of their physical development- not saying they can't, just that they don't have to. He's not opposed to dairy, and we both enjoy eating cheese, ice cream, yogurt, etc. His point was just that it's not necessary for the human diet, and there's no nutritional harm to eliminating dairy if you have an intolerance or allergy or simply choose to do so for personal reasons, so long as you are still getting your macros and micros in the rest of your diet. Makes total sense to me.
10:57 I’ll be very curious to see what you think of Factor because I have been debating whether I should try it (mostly curious about the vegetarian options) BUT more importantly, have you heard of Littlespoon? It’s a meal delivery service for babies/kids. We had Story on it with purées originally and she went into the microwavable plates. She LOVED them for years. They use a lot of organic ingredients and sneak veggies in where they can AND you can freeze them. Just a recommendation! I think it would really be a good fit for y’all 😊
Love this video! Just wanted to tell you that we are doing Factor too. We did it a few months ago, stopped, and now started up again. There’s 3 of us, all adults, and we each really like Factor. Hope you do too.
I never comment, but I always like all your videos. Your videos make me happy, I decided to comment because I love Wicked, I went to see it on Broadway in New York last year, it was the best show ever. Well, it’s the only show I’ve ever watched on Broadway, but I’m going in July to New York again and I plan on seeing the Lion King. I even named one of my plants Elphaba. I’ve never read the book but I am so looking forward to the movie. Soundtrack is awesome also. Also I used to get Factor meals all the time. They are so good. You’re gonna enjoy them.
Jen- my grandson drinks Ripple for Kids. He was allergic to milk (like my daughter was as a baby) so he was on Soy formula. When it was time to go off formula the dr said whole milk, but my daughter knew he wouldn’t be able to tolerate it. She looked and researched and Ripple for Kids had all the same vitamins etc as whole milk. He still drinks it and he will be 3 soon. The regular Ripple doesn’t have as much of the good stuff as Ripple for Kids. We get it at Target in NJ.
I really enjoy Bahamas Breeze we have one here in Michigan, We always get the pasta with the chicken. I didn't know you had one in Orlando. I love you videos, I have been watching you all for so long.
Is Jenn driving again? Sounds like it. She said that Tim is off for his haircut and she's off to the grocery store and I also think she said that she's picking up Jackdon from school. I'm so happy that she is back to driving. Way to go Jenn!!!
I tried Factor and got bored of it in a month or less. It was repetitive and boring. However, Home Chef is my favorite so far and I’ve been with them for 6 months now (not including the 2 months paused for traveling). They do have oven-ready meals too if you don’t feel like cooking. 🧑🏽🍳 The tie-dye shirts look wonderful! You did an amazing job! 👏🏼 Oliver with his “row row row” 🥹
I love wicked, both the musical and the book, but I will warn you, the book can be a slog to get through. It is very, very detailed and gregory maguire's writing style isnt for everyone but definitely give it a chance!
I LOVE Wicked and I'm so excited Jen, that you're excited for the movie! And you should absolutely see the musical!!! Just be warned that Wicked the book is VERY different than the musical. It's not bad, just be warned!
Jenn if you read the wicked book just know it's very different from the musical. It has some suggestive stuff to say the least that I promise are not in the musical and will not be in the movie. it really is a beautiful story in general though. I adore it.
This. As soon as I heard her talking about the Wicked book I RAN to the comments. The book is not great, and has some really weird stuff... personally I wouldn't bother with it and I say that as someone who loves books!
Hi Jen..I know on youtube you can see videos of the musical...it is wonderful..I have seen it 14 times...Everytime I saw it in person you notice something new...I've seen it with Idina and others play Elphaba..She is the original...Years ago I even saw Adam Lambert play the Prince before he did American Idol...Look it up on UA-cam first to see the musical or just the singing in the show before you see the movie to understand the storyline before you see the movie.
The musical/Broadway version of Wicked is fantastic. The book is really good, but just as a heads-up, it's super dark. It was lightened up a lot for the show. Although apparently the movie is going to restore quite a lot of the book that was left out. There are actually 4 books in the series- Wicked, Son of a Witch, A Lion Among Men, and Out of Oz. I'm also excited to see the movie, partially because I love the music, and partially because I'm interested in seeing Jeff Goldblum as the Wizard.
My kids have always eat what the rest of the family eats. We usually eat early so the whole family eats together and the kids see what we eats. Seeing ari's response to getting cast is what sold it for me for some reason lol it was just so pure and genuine
It’s a bunch of theater nerds making a great movie musical and it makes me so happy
The t-shirts came out so awesome!
You will love the Factor meals. My friends love the filet, chicken burrito bowls, salmon. So delish! Have a great week!
Jackson is super smart. He's like a little adult. Lol!!! Both children are adorable! Lovely family.
Oliver’s little singing voice is SO stinkin cute!!! Love it! What a beautiful family you have ! You guys are amazing parents!
i love home vlogs theyre so comforting and interesting! love seeing the differences from the USA to the UK
Oh my!! Oliver is just a sweetheart!! I can’t believe how clear he says his words!!!❤
I have been a viewer since before you guys were parents and I am so proud of both of you guys and what an adorable family you guys have become

Love the idea of the kids picking a letter. Such a great idea!

Yeah I hate cows milk too (except in recipes). I find it gross all by itself though.
@@its_clean that’s my opinion exactly! I’m not vegan or allergic, but drinking another mammal’s milk just creeps me out!

Cow’s milk alternatives are a great idea! For so many reasons ….
Yes! People are weirdly obsessed with cows milk and always question why people use alternatives.
The taste and texture of alternatives is so much better.

I adore it.
The book Wicked is no where near the musical! Don’t go by the book to judge the musical! I’ve seen the musical 4 times, it’s amazing!
This. As soon as I heard her talking about the Wicked book I RAN to the comments. The book is not great, and has some really weird stuff... personally I wouldn't bother with it and I say that as someone who loves books!
Going to see the play next month in Toronto!!
@@amomerathyeah, I did not super enjoy the book, but I've seen the play like three times. I enjoy the play so much more than the book.
Definitely see Wicked on stage if you can. It's amazing, but also the film is two parts, so you might get spoiled before the second part comes out.
I read the book numerous times and saw the broadway show it was amazing! It my favorite broadway shown ❤
Hi Jen..I know on youtube you can see videos of the musical...it is wonderful..I have seen it 14 times...Everytime I saw it in person you notice something new...I've seen it with Idina and others play Elphaba..She is the original...Years ago I even saw Adam Lambert play the Prince before he did American Idol...Look it up on UA-cam first to see the musical or just the singing in the show before you see the movie to understand the storyline before you see the movie.
I have a extra wicked book! If you want it, it’s yours!
