Seabrook is so awesome. If you go back, go on the town tour with the founders; it's fascinating to hear about all of the design choices they made to facilitate kids being able to bike by themselves and a slower pace to everything. Also the oyster shells they use aren't because they haven't completed the sidewalks yet; if I recall correctly, they use them to signify a transition away from the more "city" portion of Seabrook to the farm and wooded neighborhoods. Really, the place is magical!
What a cute family. Lovely scenery … I live in the Puget Sound area for 2.5 years now, and must make this trip. What is the beach that you drove on, is it in Ocean Shores and where did you get the fish and chips? Can you recommend a hotel? Also loved the little Seabrook Village. Yum, sushi by the shore 🙌 I cannot imagine actually driving on and parking at the shore. Not something that is allowed in CA where I moved from.
In Ocean Shores, I usually stay at The Canterbury Inn. Oceanfront, clean and reasonably priced. In Westport I stay at Chateau Westport for the same reasons.
I did my first deep sea fishing trip out of Westport when I was still living in Sandpoint, Idaho. I remember the boat going into deep swells as we crossed from the bay into the ocean proper. Being in the bottom of a swell and looking up to see the water way above you in each direction is quite a thrill. Congrats on the new baby - lots of wonderful adventures are ahead for you all.
Liked your Westport Trip, I love the Ocean and seafood. Spent a few Winters in Arizona and always managed a week at Oceanside / Carlsbad visiting our friends and yes, the Ocean.
Thanks for the video. Not sure if you're planning a family trip to Hawaii, but I'd be interested in how that goes with a young child. We did a staycation in Waikiki when my son was 3 months old. It was tough 😆
What a wonderful video I just came across... enjoy.... here's to many more enjoyable trips with Baby J !!!!
