The point there was buying before the rest, before the price spiked. Buying high, specially a meme stock is profoundly stupid IMHO. You can trust in the rest, but only if you have little to nothing to lose, trusting people to not dump some overpriced garbage is not smart.

You make some good points but I suspect that a dark background may not work very well when filming people with dark skin. They could go with a medium (gray, sandy) background perhaps.
I agree mostly with this, but his characterization of "Game Stop Stock" isn't entirely correct whilst there people trying get rich there was also people who's goal was to keep the stock value up long as possible to make the short squeeze as much a failure as possible. It's still classic example of herd mentality but one that shows how it can reinforce detrimental world views( in both Wallstreet and on Reddit). I hope at some point we can learn to break from herd mentality when it goes awry in politics, economics and etc, to ensure our sanity and bring nuance to issues.

I mean is this really a unique feature of primates? Almost all larger complex species exhibit some form of herd mentality. I wouldnt say this exclusive to just us and our distant relatives. Now is primate behavior more applicable to us? Yes but primates arent the only order that have herd mentality.
