And the last straw that made him teleport Blitzø was being mocked with the 'roleplay' thing, then being screamed at that he's just another upper-class asshole. I'm afraid Stolas' self-worth is probably at an all-time low now. :( What Stolas did with the crystal/talk needed to happen at some point, but he's not going to be bolstering his self-esteem from it at all.
Blitz taught Stolas he could choose to leave his horrible arranged marriage and seek his own happiness. He can't stand the idea of keeping Blitz unfairly bound to him like he was to Stella. But Blitz puts Stolas on such a high pedestal he can't begin to imagine things from Stolas's perspective.

But, that also means that Stolas and Blitzø's arrangement that happens every Full Moon is over now that Blitzø has the crystal. Blitzø is upset because he thinks that Stolas doesn't want him around anymore so he yells at Stolas, calling a pompous rich asshole. Stolas gets upset after that, telling Blitzø "I thought so highly of you, I didn't think you thought so low of me." Then, Stolas opens a portal that kicks Blitzø out of Stolas' palace. Then Blitzø turns around to look at the palace and yells: "What the fuck?!"
I just realised Stolas wears black sleeves and gloves, 1:29, his arms are predominantly grey, but at 1:31 you can see his arms are entirely black except for some fluff on his elbows and his bandaging on his arm is covered. I always just thought his arms were black.

It seemed sudden, but I think Blitzø's mocking 'roleplay' hurt too specifically deep. There's evidence in both Western Energy (the texts on Stolas' phone) and in Oops (when Blitzø says that Stolas has been talking about feelings and pretending to care) that Stolas has been trying to communicate and gauge Blitzø's feelings. Blitzø has failed to see that any of it was genuine and here admits he's been avoiding the questions intentionally. He sees that as avoiding more complications, but Stolas sees it as Blitzø feeling used by Stolas and distancing himself. He mentions here in the song that he feels he's not enough for Blitzø. So while Stolas' reaction in Full Moon seems sudden to Blitzø and the viewer, from Stolas' viewpoint, that talk and the crystal were the only ideas he had left to prove he was serious. Blitzø turned them into a joke, and it cut deep. And then he gets followed and yelled at, which most likely set off a PTSD type response from his history of domestic abuse. He doesn't really process what Blitzø is trying to communicate and only hears the anger and insults. In Stolas' view, Blitzø confirmed that Stolas wasn't and would never be someone that he would genuinely want. Honestly, the way the writing team/animators have sprinkled all this throughout the past season has been pretty phenomenal.

It seems like it's a recurring theme that, despite Blitzø being the first one to show a fear of dying alone, Stolas is the one that has come closest to it and is the one who's increasingly more isolated. Both of them have very similar insecurities and issues with their self-worth, just expressed in extremely different ways.
I just finished the episode. When it came out I listened to the first 2 minutes (this song) and immediately got hooked. This song itself was worth the wait. But after seeing the whole thing, just wow. I know why I love indie animations like the hellaverse and digital circus. Shows with exceptional characters, phenomenal music, and episodes that make me think when they’re over.
I love at the end when Stolas sings "When I see him- will it be tender or be tough" and then he sings down an octave "will it please him? Or will I just be fucking it all up?" So pretty.
A little detail i like is thag Stolas still hs the bandage around his arm when Striker stabbed him it goes to show even with the best medical care and being a all powerful demon a heavenly weapon will still fuck you up and take a while to heal

In defense of Blitzø, Stolas was sexual towards him 99% of the time they were together. I feel like we, as the audience, forget that we're the only ones (maybe besides Asmodeus) who get to see that Stolas has true feelings for Blitzø. We have been seeing the buildup-- Blitzø got hit with it out of nowhere. I feel bad for both of them. They both struggle so hard with communicating. 💔
Not entirely true, he had months since that time at ozzie's where stolas did try to make a move for an actual relationship and then he kept trying to talk to blitz after that (the texts in the hospital show it)

I love this song, I've liked it since I've first heard it, but now it became one of my favourite songs in the show, as now I can hear all of the lyrics. And i says so much about them, not just the words but also how they are singing then and their faces. How Stolas who finally got his life in order, divorced Stella, sent all of her stuf away, talked to Octavia (he could have done more, but that's just my opinion) resolved the issue with Blitzø using the book illegally getting a legal crystal for him instead, is ready to verify the state of their relationship, risking getting hurt and it going bad, but still brave enough to fight for his happiness, because Blitzø inspires him to do great things. And Blitzø who erases himself from all of his photos, because he can't even look at himself, who hates himself and thinks himself not deserving of love. Blitzø who doesn't even dare to think of WANTING to be with Stolas, he prefers it when he HAS TO do it, for his business, because then he doesn't have to think about his feelings. He can't fuck Stolas because he wants to and because he likes him, in his traumatised brain he doesn't deserve happiness, he can't CHOOSE to do things that make him happy, he is still punishing himself for the circus accident and the moment he isn't bound by the erangement and gets free choice he freaks out. Now to continue meeting with Stolas he would have to admit to himself that he is doing it just because he wants to and then, he would therefore have to to stop, and he doesn't want to stop. There is just so much story in this clip, I can't stop thinking about them 😭

It seems like it's a recurring theme that, despite Blitzø being the first one to show a fear of dying alone, Stolas is the one that has come closest to it and is the one who's increasingly more isolated. Both of them have very similar insecurities and issues with their self-worth, just expressed in extremely different ways.
I just finished the episode. When it came out I listened to the first 2 minutes (this song) and immediately got hooked. This song itself was worth the wait. But after seeing the whole thing, just wow. I know why I love indie animations like the hellaverse and digital circus. Shows with exceptional characters, phenomenal music, and episodes that make me think when they’re over.
I love at the end when Stolas sings "When I see him- will it be tender or be tough" and then he sings down an octave "will it please him? Or will I just be fucking it all up?"
So pretty.
A little detail i like is thag Stolas still hs the bandage around his arm when Striker stabbed him it goes to show even with the best medical care and being a all powerful demon a heavenly weapon will still fuck you up and take a while to heal

In defense of Blitzø, Stolas was sexual towards him 99% of the time they were together. I feel like we, as the audience, forget that we're the only ones (maybe besides Asmodeus) who get to see that Stolas has true feelings for Blitzø.
We have been seeing the buildup-- Blitzø got hit with it out of nowhere. I feel bad for both of them. They both struggle so hard with communicating. 💔
Not entirely true, he had months since that time at ozzie's where stolas did try to make a move for an actual relationship and then he kept trying to talk to blitz after that (the texts in the hospital show it)

Stolas sees himself as a monster if he's kept Blitzo around just because he lets him use his book, even though Blitzo was the one that started it and originally used Stolas (though then it sort of evolved into something more) just to get access to the mortal realm.

I love this song, I've liked it since I've first heard it, but now it became one of my favourite songs in the show, as now I can hear all of the lyrics. And i says so much about them, not just the words but also how they are singing then and their faces. How Stolas who finally got his life in order, divorced Stella, sent all of her stuf away, talked to Octavia (he could have done more, but that's just my opinion) resolved the issue with Blitzø using the book illegally getting a legal crystal for him instead, is ready to verify the state of their relationship, risking getting hurt and it going bad, but still brave enough to fight for his happiness, because Blitzø inspires him to do great things. And Blitzø who erases himself from all of his photos, because he can't even look at himself, who hates himself and thinks himself not deserving of love. Blitzø who doesn't even dare to think of WANTING to be with Stolas, he prefers it when he HAS TO do it, for his business, because then he doesn't have to think about his feelings. He can't fuck Stolas because he wants to and because he likes him, in his traumatised brain he doesn't deserve happiness, he can't CHOOSE to do things that make him happy, he is still punishing himself for the circus accident and the moment he isn't bound by the erangement and gets free choice he freaks out. Now to continue meeting with Stolas he would have to admit to himself that he is doing it just because he wants to and then, he would therefore have to to stop, and he doesn't want to stop.
