No one put a gun to Lucas’s head and forced him to be with her so she didn’t bring anything on herself… Lucas is an asshole period. Lucas didn’t bother breaking up with Brooke until shit hit the fan… he was willing to stay in a relationship with her and fully cheat behind her back.
If you rewatch the series, you’d know that Peyton never actually told Brooke how she felt about Lucas. She also always brushed Brooke off when Brooke would ask her if she wanted to date Lucas. Lucas was fair game. No one held a gun to Lucas’ head either to get with Brooke. That was all him. Anyways, Brooke deserved better than Lucas and she got her happy ending in the end.
I don't like Brucas together as a couple.....but I really feel for Brooke. She was hurt badly by Lucas(and Peyton). But I am happy that Lucas was going to not be an absentee dad like Dan. But as a non-Brucas fan I was relieved that she lied about being pregnant. But this was a really sad sad scene.
Mel Smith Not sure if Chad didn't want to return because of his divorce and falling out with Sophia...Hilarie on the other hand didn't return because of alleged sexual harassment from Mark Schwann. Sophia Bush revealed just a couple years ago after quitting Chicago PD that she quit CPD because of sexual harassment and bullying on there...and her reasoning for quitting was having been through it already on OTH. That's what I've been led to understand anyway. It's why she's now such a vocal activist on feminism and women's rights.
I can’t be the only one who thinks that Brooke was in the wrong in this situation? She LIED about being pregnant. I understand that Brooke was heartbroken, but that’s simply not how you deal with it.
Jasmine Doan brooke at first thought she was pregnant so she didnt lie. when the man called and said it was a false alarm that’s when she found out and Lucas called her a slut and everything and she just didn’t feel like telling him in that moment cause she was upset. but she didn’t lie she just didn’t tell him for a few hours bc this was all in the same episode.
