Hmm I noticed whenever Peyton breaks his heart he tried to hook up with someone. Back when he wanted a relationship with Peyton and she said she didn't want that he hooked up with Brooke, after Brooke found out about her and Lucas she ends it and he hooks up with Nikki, after their offical relationship and he proposed and she said no he tried to sleep with Brooke. Only Peyton had this effect on him, he never hooked up with anyone else when Brooke or Lindsay ended it, obviously he wasn't in love with them like he is with Peyton. He loved them but wasn't in love with them
