Ananwe1990 I think it may have been a translation thing with German, as they do it for a few of their earlier songs as well. I don't have a German copy of the LoTR trilogy, so I wouldn't be able to tell you if they were referred to as gnomes or the German equivilant or something along those lines.

Other metal bands don't get exposure outside of Europe and South America. That's not a Blind Guardian thing. That's a "we don't play accessible music" thing. Think Iron Maiden get played on US radio? Taste is subjective so great bands end up being less popular sometimes. That's just how taste works.
