It’s difficult to say to be honest . With Sony cameras if you have a related setting turned off or on another gets disabled

Well that’s an it’s an interesting question. Fuji has better lens option by far and they are not overpriced like the Sony ones. Autofocus , it’s a big win for Sony there, I don’t think any system can compete with Sony in the Autofocus department. Handling of the camera it’s a tougher call because the dials on the Fuji are much better in my opinion but the grip to hold the camera is too small. Its a difficult decision. The Fuji XT3 would be a better option of the 3 cameras, except the autofocus , but it’s more expensive.

    Hello sir, please read:
I purchased the a6400 as a gift to myself during very stressful times. It was to be a tool to actually help me overcome DEVASTATING consequences by maybe starting a vlog, and catching the right images for a soon to be business venture. It was however, purchased in japan. Without testing.
I ended up getting the japanese ONLY version. And upon vast research, it seems like the a6400 is immune to the "hack" that has been out for it's siblings.
Is there any way you can help, or know any inside info about a soon to be hack?

I haven’t heard anything about it. I’ve heard that international versions of the camera has slightly different menus or small differences but nothing too drastic. See if you still have time to exchange it for another one if you still within the 30 day return policy.

dlamhk hi! You are going to find that on the setup tab ( the one that looks like a tool box) in page 1 at the bottom. It says tile menu.

Hi Family of Tech, love the Videos! Great Channel. Subscribed.
I am new to filming on a Sony set-up (6400) and am struggling to make the switch, I want to make hiking videos but cant get the camera to stay in focus. I have tried Auto-Continuous focus mode, but when walking through forests, the focus jumps from tree to tree and looks awful. If I use manual focus and get sharp focus using the Peeking assist, when the lighting changes, due to sunlight or open areas, the footage goes blurry. I have the camera in shutter priority mode and set to 60 (double that of the 4k 30 ) and everything else is set to auto. What am i doing wrong?
I would ideally like infinity focus with as much of the settings on auto as I don't have time to keep changing the settings whilst walking. Thanks for any help.

      Hi! Thanks for
Watching the video and for subscribing Try these instead: 1) shoot completely manual, set your shutter speed double your frame rate and try choosing an aperture between F8 and f11, that will give you a deeper depth of field. By choosing shutter priority (I never use it ) the camera will try to get more light and will open the aperture which will give you and shallower depth of field which sounds to me is not what you are looking for when you are in the woods. 2) shoot video in aperture priority and choose the aperture yourself (again F8 or f11 depending on lighting situation of course for a deeper depth of field) 3) set the customizable button 1 to toggle between autofocus and manual focus. This way you use the autofocus to focus in whatever it is that you want to focus , but right after you got your focus set , change it to manual focus because that Way the camera won’t be able to change focus on you. 4) consider setting your ISO to auto ISO and choose the maximum value you are comfortable with. For that just hit the ISO button and go up until you see ISO auto. If you go into your menu there is an area that you can set up the minimum ISO that you want and the highest ISO value that you are comfortable with. This way you have one less thing to worry about with your exposure triangle.

@@FamilyofTech Thank you so much, makes complete sense. My aperture wasn't locked so the camera was auto adjusting this, thus altering the Focus/Bokeh dependent on the light. I will have another try tonight! Thank you so much. Again, great channel and keep up the great work!
