IGLs usually flex and fill for what ever comp is required for the team. But the reason why igls play initiators is because they can can make the plays/strats happen using util the way they want it
Controllers have an ability to kinda sit back and watch the game develop safely, while initiators can actively get the information that they want at the risk of needing to be slightly more aggressive. So as an IGL it depends on what type of player you are!
