Just wanna let u know that i started maining Astra recently and youre one of the reasons I did. So thank you for your content because it got me out of getting intimidated with Astra even though I've been interested in her a for a while now.

I have a video idea for us lowly astra mains in gold/plat. The biggest issue I face in my matches is that I suck at focusing on both using my util for the team and my gunplay. I am usually either far too focused on getting kills which ends up killing my teammates or using my util for my team and staring at the map too often which results in me being bottom frag because my head is with my team not by my gunfights. Or I have to switch far too rapidly between the two. Maybe you could make a video where you give tipps for quickly analysing different situations or beeing able to focus on both.

This is something I used to struggle with. If I may give you some advice, try to get to cover everytime your checking ur minimap (I used to hold angle, check my minimap cause team getting a contact and die cuz someone peeked me) and then you can check it whenever you are knife out (cause you shouldn't expect a fight at this point) or when your are 3rd man and don't have to trade a teammate. With time you'll check it faster and it won't impact you that much. The rest of the time, stay focused on ur duels and gunfights. Remember you can ask your teammates what's happening on their side if you have to stay aware at the moment ! Good luck in your games !

I think with Astra its best to play "hold", to focus on staying alive than actually getting kills. The prrssure to top frag actually holds me back to performing good and ironically, when i just focus on support, thats when i actually get to mid or top frag. Play around your team even when youre in lower elo (I recently just started playing rank and still in iron). You'll be much more useful just trying to stay alive than to get kills.

The point about rushing in valorant is bad needs to be said more often. Players just do not understand that certain agents will become far less effective if you can frustrate them by baiting out smokes.
Omen is one of the FEW controllers that doesn't feel as stifled when it comes to refreshing smokes on chokepoints or across the map.
If you see a Brimstone, just know he has 3 and they are 19.25 seconds long that is just over 57 seconds worth of controlling space. IT CAN BE ABUSED WAY TOO EASILY as he is limited by range. Forcing Brim to play in weaker areas of the map to help BOTH sides of the map(SUNSET)
Harbor, 15 seconds duration on High Tide(Wall) 40s cooldown.
Ya get the point, Astra is one of those controllers that has global presence but believe me when I say this, if you're refreshing smokes for your teammates and they are not holding that smoke it will be a wasted smoke and piece of her utility to assist with your teammates. Be thoughtful and understand as much as you NEED utility, please understand the ways of utilizing smoke play. FLOWSHIZZLE pointed out great ways to use smokes for her own gameplay, but all players have to understand it too.

Please make Astra guide for every map. It would be much appreciated if you did so.❤❤❤

Already did! Or atleast for the maps I believe Astra is viable in. I probably will never make guides for Astra on Icebox or Breeze unless the map gets changed in a significant way

@@FLOWSHIZZLE that's sad as I play Astra only, I sucked really bad on Breeze last act and I'm more than sure to succ as hard on Icebox, would like to have some even half-assed, troll guide for these maps, for fellow throwers and one trick instalockers. Maybe on April the 1st? Sounds appropriate.
