Good for you. But, the same effort you are putting into being physically and mentally elite you could do the same thing with something that would make you a lot of money when your contract ends or for yourself . It's a dangerous career that will have flawed people in charge of your life. More power to you though, your life is worth a lot.
When you think you're stressed and your life is hard and everything is going wrong, just realize that there is people going through way worse shit than you every second of every day, and if they can make it through, you can too.

If you want more goggings content both his books “Can’t hurt me” and “Never finished” are really good. They go in way more detail into his life. I think I am condemning everyone I know who ever talked shit on this guy. As a former combat medic, I love this guy and respect him and appreciate his service. The guy should be honored.

I remember about two years ago I ran to one of these podcasts with David Goggins and Joe. I ran 15 miles and everybody told me I wouldn’t even make it past five don’t ever let anyone limit you
I am 83 years old, David's house was on my route in the late '70's (I was a mailman). He didn't know me, but I always remembered walking to the door and speaking with his pet dog. His dog was the most friendly longhaired teacup pomeranian I have ever encountered. I would add at least an hour to my route once a week to sit and talk with that dog. I would let myself in sometimes and lay on the couch with him (oops). I was saddened when David and family moved. The new owners were more aware of me in their home unfortunately.
I havent run since like 10 years. I have been walking and stuff like that. But im overall in bad shape. VO2max is 34. Im 44 years old. My goshh , Goggins endured the toughest recovery after his surgery. Each of our feet is important to each of us. Im able to think victory about having functioning feet.
Nipsey hussle said we look at life like it’s about what you can get out of it but if you live that way you’ll always be unfulfilled he said it’s the opposite it’s about knowing your gonna leave one day and the only way you’ll be fulfilled is if you gave it all you got and leave it all here because it’s temporary and you got a moment. That’s always stuck with me.
I am 308 pounds. Will be back in 30 days at 260 pounds. Any pounds over 260, I am going to run those miles everyday. Checking in on Nov 4 2024. Start weight: 308 pounds. Finished weight: 260 pounds.
David gave me the motivation to become as healthy as I've ever been after a 6 year long relationship ended. I then met another girl, who was a heavy drinker. I should have just stayed alone. Cause i am one now too and living with moms. Don't be me. Keep up your hard work and don't stray from what got you far.
2:19:00 gold right here guys! Goggins shares the path he saw and walked to get there, so we have to walk that same path, chase suffering every damn day and get to that breakingpoint and try to not break, but if you do, it aint over till YOU DEAD! It was just your first, second, thrid, foruth, fitht, sixth, seventh, eight and so on nr. attempt.
This is the key that readers of both books barely saw and Joe doesn’t know how to talk about either There’s softness and there’s kindness. They’re different. David is hard and kind. That’s the key. He’s compassionate to himself when he fails. He balances how he calls himself a little bitch and how he is kind to himself when he wants to quit. That’s the key. Like he said you’re alone when you’re grinding, so how do you love yourself more than anyone can when life is hell? You show yourself grace That’s not discussed in a way people can understand because it sounds soft. But that’s as hard as you can get. That’s competing with yourself because you’ve gone beyond most of your competition
Thank you so much to David, Joe and everyone else who contributed to making this a reality. This is everything, to David, thanks so much for sharing. ❤
I would like to apologize to Joe, David, and everyone else reading this. I just realized that I had accidentally disliked this masterpeice. I have corrected my mistake. Stay hard, veiny, and throbbing friends.

I just love it when these two get talking. So much wisdom compressed within 2.5 hrs.
Can you believe there are people in this comment section complaining of cuss words? Anal retentive idiots!
My goshh , Goggins endured the toughest recovery after his surgery. Each of our feet is important to each of us. Im able to think victory about having functioning feet.

"If I could walk on water...."
Goggins you inspire us all daily
.. A TEMPORARY 'DOPAMINE' FIX. .

I relate to this so much! Surrender is not an option. Don’t ask how, just do it. As above, do below.😊
Perfect opening 😂😂. Everybody know David don’t vacay, stay hard.
David gave me the motivation to become as healthy as I've ever been after a 6 year long relationship ended. I then met another girl, who was a heavy drinker. I should have just stayed alone. Cause i am one now too and living with moms. Don't be me. Keep up your hard work and don't stray from what got you far.
You can still do a change today bro !
put down the bottle and pick up the boats.
Ey man I think alot of people are living with their folks at them moment youll be alright.
2:19:00 gold right here guys! Goggins shares the path he saw and walked to get there, so we have to walk that same path, chase suffering every damn day and get to that breakingpoint and try to not break, but if you do, it aint over till YOU DEAD! It was just your first, second, thrid, foruth, fitht, sixth, seventh, eight and so on nr. attempt.
This is the key that readers of both books barely saw and Joe doesn’t know how to talk about either
There’s softness and there’s kindness.
You show yourself grace
That’s not discussed in a way people can understand because it sounds soft. But that’s as hard as you can get. That’s competing with yourself because you’ve gone beyond most of your competition
Men love all these goggins conversations. Good show Joe
Yes , we have David Goggins again on the podcast!
