Awesome series on building a track sled. Was searching on building a track sled and it popped up. Not harping on you but it wasn’t the style of track sled I was looking for, with that being said. I can’t stop watching your videos! Great job explaining and awesome footage. I’m just looking to build a track sled to pull me around for ice fishing here in Wisconsin. I plan on building mine with a 212 harbor freight predator engine. Love the videos, keep it up can’t wait to see the end product!
Thanks for the feedback. There are several good videos on UA-cam on track sled builds. There is also a group on Facebook called Track Sleds of the North. The group is mainly people building track sleds or have built a track sled. You can find a lot of good information in that group. There are some pretty simple builds that look pretty easy to do. I wanted something with a reverse that is how to I picked the motor I did. I also wanted to be able to sit down for the ride and that is where they pull behind sleigh idea came from. Good luck on the build. Let me know how it goes or if you have questions.
Very cool
Thanks!! It has been a fun build.
Congrats! You've turned a snowmobile into a slower snowmobile!
Not yet, but almost there!
